#40 is a POS.

All American

And a d-bag. Soon to be a loser

Unlike Warhawk 96, who got a little salty because some of his favorite players were being hit too hard, I felt that the rest of the Warhawk nation was a very nice bunch. Congrats and good luck to you against Wesley and UMU. Represent the North region well.

You're very unlike me. I find it amusing that you pull the class card when I call your best player out for being a cheap shot artist. ::) I speak my mind and I stand up for the people and things that I believe in. I always have and always will. If you have a problem with it good, it says a lot about you. As far as the hits are concerned, no complaints about the clean ones. We exchanged quite a few of those. Obviously we save ours for when they matter...like during the play.

Hey warhawk96.... Takes a lot of guts to say stuff about a guy online. I'm glad New Tradition got to you before I did. Way to represent your school with class. Matt Wenger is one of the more classy players on the field and an all around great guy. You can dislike a guy for being a good player. But don't question a guy's character on and off the field. You have some backbone, boy. I could care less if I get knocked on karma for calling you out because you deserve it. NCC had your team against the ropes today, and you're worried.... I guess that's cool. Hope your team hoes far warhawk96.... At least THEY were classy.
Before you got to me ;D?! HILARIOUS! Trust me, if there were any other way to say it I would. I DO have "some backbone" ;)

A better way to say it?  How about not saying it at all?  Funny how any of the other UW-W fans have a problem with the way the game was called.  And it doesn't seem like any of your fans have a problem with the way Wenger played his game.  That's really some way to talk about a guy who was Defensive Player of the Year for the CCIW  and is in the running for the DPOY for the nation this year.  Teams chirp, and they shove after plays, that's bound to happen.  As far as I'm concerned, I didn't see any BLATANT late hits on either side of the ball.  So for you to call a kid a "POS, D-bag, loser" (especially on POSSIBLY the last game of his career... although he has had a dozen NFL teams come to look at him... truly the sign of a d-bag loser...) is just classless.  Verging on, dare I say, ignorant.  You have no justification for the posts you've made about Wenger.  Also, I gotta know... is 20-10 a TRIPLE MONKEY STOMP?

Haha, why are you still talking? This is too fun and too easy for me. I'm not surprised that you didn't see what was going on on that play but if you read the posts above this one among several others, I'm not the only one to see it...from either side. I'm also not surprised that you can't see the whole point of playing the game. It's to win it. Congratulations, you beat my generously exaggerated point spread. Go ahead and put the feather in your cap. You've been waiting to celebrate that victory for weeks now. Way to not get whooped. You should get it tatooed on your forehead. I wish Wenger luck with his NFL aspirations. I don't dislike him personally because I don't know him. I have my already stated and restated opinion on what happened but that's that. Any player that can make it to the NFL from division three is a good thing. Get your emotions in check, you're waaay more upset than I am about it.

I just find it completely dumbfounding how you can call a kid a "POS" a "d-bag" and a "loser".  Really, I'm not as upset as I seem, really.  But as a former player, who has been in this position (yes, I was part of the 07 team that got TOASTED by you guys), it's rather uncalled for to call a kid that.  If you have displeasure with the call, blame it on the refs.  There was one play in question.  Not multiple.  One.  I don't understand how that makes a kid a "cheap shot artist" as you have put it.  You're telling me, that in all of your days of playing, you NEVER ONCE got in a kid's face?  I find that hard to believe with emotions riding high.

Also, the "triple monkey stomp" comment... really, I would have much rather beaten you.  But, for all of the trash you talked, you really didn't back it up with your "triple monkey stomp".  It was a very well played game by both sides.  Hey, I congratulated you guys on your victory.  And I truly do hope that you guys go far.  But, it's unfortunate that, out of all of the posters on this board that have congratulated the Cards in a good season and playing you guys tough, you're the only one who has to raise hell and talk even more smack.  Especially about someone you don't know.  Maybe I need to get my "emotions in check".  I'll agree with that, I take it personally when you talk trash about an old teammate of mine.  But maybe, JUUUUUUST maybe, you should check yourself and what you say about others.  In some famous words (most memorable by me from Metallica)  "Judge not lest ye be judged yourself."

Dallas and BoBo,

I'm trying to find a good highlight reel of Wenger.  Unfortunately the NC17 crew (the ones who broadcast the games on TV) focus more on our offense.  Hopefully I find one and can post it for you.

Wow.  96, you're a real retard.

Really??? :D

You created a new account as "ncc1seed" AFTER you lost as the 1 seed in the quarterfinals. Hilarious.

I agree... not smart on that poster's part.

Thanks!  I actually watched the highlight reel you posted a few minutes ago (before you took it down) and although I didn't see any highlights of Wenger, I was going to comment on how well spoken the players were that were interviewed from NCC.  Seems like a good program.  I'm glad we won, but I've much respect for you guys.

Haha, well played, sir.  I don't know... Welsey has a good team.  But I honestly have a tough time believing that they will play you as well as NCC did today.  Again, maybe because I'm an alum, or maybe because I've played with the seniors on that team, but I feel that NCC was a top-tier team and it's likely going to be that the number 1 team in the nation and the number 5 team in the nation had just as tough of a battle as the number one and number two.

The NCC defense played fast and hard. Wenger is special.  They are well coached and intense.  UW-W should be proud of it's victory.

I was going to try to be good this week.  Then Wesleydad has to start taunting on Saturday!  I say we ignore him for today. Maybe we can take the high road and not answer Wesleydad's taunts. Maybe we can just be nice this week and tell him how good the Wolverines are.  For tonight, let's just enjoy the victory over an excellent football team. Then let's take a day to rest tomorrow.

And then Monday. Monday starts....bye week!  ;D

Really wish the video stream would have worked to see him play today.  Heard his name ALL DAY LONG.  Hope he gets a shot at the next level.

Dallas and BoBo,

The first minute and thirty focuses on Wenger.  I'm sure there are other highlights, but these are a few that you can see.

Yes, I love that quote at the end. The original is actually from the book of Matthew. I understand that you may be upset. I was too, VERY, when I see someone doing that to people that I care about. I've been a part of teams that lost. I have NEVER stood on top of someone pushing their face into the ground after the whistle, I was too busy running to the football. It's not to say that I didn't occasionally talk smack but I think the pushing of someone's face in the dirt after and away from the play is uncalled for; you think what I said is uncalled for. To tell you the truth, I was done with it as soon as I said it. It was meant in the context of "that was a cheap one" but I wasn't trying to cast judgement on him as a person. I don't know him. As far as bringing up the fact that we won again, I'll apologize for that. Everyone knows it and I didn't have to repeat it. You guys were much tougher than I thought you were going to be and when I opened my mouth about the blowout I was highly upset that we weren't a number one seed and was letting off some steam. I may be opinionated, brash at times, and competitive to a fault but it's not for a lack of heart or compassion. I care very deeply about some things and my alma matter's football team is one of them.

Competitive, passionate, emotional, "got your teammate's back" mentality, etc.  At the end of the day, it sounds like we all would have liked to play ball with one another.    (96, we prob did.)

Dallas and BoBo,

I'm trying to find a good highlight reel of Wenger.  Unfortunately the NC17 crew (the ones who broadcast the games on TV) focus more on our offense.  Hopefully I find one and can post it for you.

I was just searching that site to see if they archive the game to show/view at a later time. I wasn't able to find anything. I guess I'll be just listening to the UWW podcast of the game once it gets posted in a day or two. I'm hoping they have the post game press conference, too.

Redshirt in 95.  98 was my last season playing.  Had a huge mistake regarding some credits that transferred that cost me what would have been my senior year in 99.  Yes, it still eats me up.  You?

BoBo

At the beginning of the season, did anybody have nightmares over the kicking game? And what it might do to us during the playoffs?

Nice to have Kindler giving me many sleepful nights (except game nites) as the season moves on!!  ;)

I thought about that today, as well.  It's nice to see him make those clutch kicks.
