Heck, that was a little push, and then the QB toppled like he was on American Loggers.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

so is there any major impact on next saturdays game with the 4 players that were arrested and released from the team?

From digging around this is what I came up with (mostly from the ACFC board)...

Douglas: was starting at TE, he was replacing the pre-season all american Sean McAndrew. McAndrew only played in the first 4 games this season (injured i assume?). I guess wesley will be down to their third-string tight end. From what I heard the third stringer is a good blocker but can't catch.

Fowlkes: was a part of the WR rotation throughout the year, he was probably further down on the depth chart. He scored a handful of TDs this season, a few being in the playoffs.

Strickland: probably their biggest hit from what I've read...he played a lot in the secondary, and was a big part of their nickle situations.

Baker: played on the d-line, but only played on a few snaps.

Fowlkes: Indeed.  He caught TD passes of 45 and 63 yards in their first playoff game. And in the season finale against Kean, he caught one of 74 yards.  I didn't go further back.

However, he's been removed from the team's cumulative stats. His STATS haven't been removed from the totals, but his name has been removed from the "RECEIVING" statistics.

WC11,
That kind of came out of nowhere.  Do you get a little cantankerous when football season ends for you guys?  ;)

This is the reason I picked the Crusader's to upend the Wolverines last weekend in the pick em's but they didn't seem to skip a beat.

It looks to me like the Wolverines have more receivers than they know what to do with.  Fowlkes did catch quite a few LONG TD passes, though.  If it's true that Strickland was their biggest hit, UMHB didn't have the passing game to take advantage. Let's hope Saturday is a different story!  ;)

Coming up with big plays helps to win playoff games. Someone new each week...who will it be this week?  ;)

bleedpurple,

#84 Ellis Grout is the key receiver for Wesley. At 6'4 200, a big target. How does UWW defend against him vs. the other receivers? :-\

Well...I had an opening so I had to take a little shot.  No ill will towards UWW at all.  Linfield kids last year said UWW played clean and hard...always respect that.

With regards to the 'Cats season being done...My 1-month old daughter summed it up best with this picture:

Pray that our d-line can get pressure on the QB and make a play.

The Stevens Point receivers (Jenkins and Akers) are very big and athletic. Other then 1 big play, we did contain them. As you well know 68, it all starts with getting pressure from the boys up front. Getting in the face of the QB will help neutralize some of that size and hopefully lead to some turnovers again this week. Only time will tell how Wesley reacts to situations they haven't had to face this year. Wesley has a history of folding like a house of cards against the Warhawks!!  ;)

Delaware is a heck of a lot longer than Naperville, it will be interesting to see how many Warhawk fans make the trip.

Hard to know for sure, FC, but the Warhawk clan tends to travel pretty well and I guarantee, it won't just be family in the stands.  Remember, long flights are not that unusual for us.  ;)
