bobo, sorry, left out the lines dominated play.   the easy win is an opinion, mine that was shared by the folks that i was standing with who had no dog in the fight.  the game was close but never in doubt, i think they missed the explanation in the podcast.  too much time spent on what umhb didnt get done, caused by the wesley defense, and not enough time spent on what wesley didnt get done, caused by the umhb defense.  umhb had one shot to score before daniels broke the td run to make it 19 -9.  before that wesley missed a field goal and kicked 2 others, so the score does not reflect the potential final.  thus my belief that it was an easy win.  being at the game gives you a different view of it than the stats or the final score.

A wise coach once said that potential gets you beat. At the end of the day, it was 10 points....period. You won, but there's no reason to fear you because of what you ALMOST did. You think your line is great. I think ours are greater. We'll put our thoughts on the side and let our boys duke it out but I do know one thing, I've heard these same assertions before out of Wesley and it didn't end well for them. More specifically, KABOOM!

But with retrospect comes wisdom.  (I can't promise the pithy little comment applies to me, but it sounds good.)

masterjedi, dont see uwww getting 28 let alone 45.  like your belief in the warhawks, but dont see it this time.  only 20 last week, similar if that much this week.

By the way, I don't have issues with people who might actually challenge UWW. I have issue with people who get ahead of themselves when all previous trips have ended with the WARHAWKS. I see you're a little sensitive about the cannon thing and to that I say SO? KABOOM

Yes, still don't know if Zebrowski will be coaching.  Apparently a combination of ten of Kill's coaches and graduate assistants will be coaching the team. Don't know all of the coaches yet.

Warhawks practiced inside the U of Wisconsin Mcclain practice facility tonight. Local news interviewed local kid (Brekke from Sun Prairie) about becoming the starting QB.

I guess beating the vaunted #1 seed on it's own turf will do that.  Or is it being the defending National Champion. Or perhaps the 28 game winning streak.  One doesn't bleed purple without drinking plenty of purple fluid.  So far, on the field, no team has been able to prove I'm drinking anything other than Truth Serum.

It's a fan blog, Usee.  He doesn't profess to be an unbiased reporter.  And I saw observations backed up by statistics. With a purple bent?  Damn right but doesn't every poster have some kind of bent to their posts?
