IF the Hawks can beat the Raiders next week, that would be 3 #1 seeds they beat to win the title. Let there be no doubt then.

Easily the toughest game next week. The Raiders made it look all too easy yet again. Not even slightly challenged in the playoffs.

Wesley - ZERO rushing first downs today... -7 net rushing yards!!  Gained only 38, but lost 45 - most coming on 4 sacks for 37 yards.

Unfortunately Mount Union has gone through the playoffs untested before they got to Salem.  Hasn't always worked out well for them.

But, they have faced some good teams and decent defenses.  None nearly as good as they'll see next week.

Something tells me you could say the same about Whitewater.  You're "extra" test was a game on the road.

and two Gagliardi finalists!!!

The thing is - the offense had the false start on the first FG drive at the 1 - left 4 points off there.

Two picks on bad throws in plus territory - should have been 6 / 10 / 14 points more.  Easily could have been a bigger monket stomp.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

stagg bowl being broadcasted on ESPN2????

I thought it was ESPNU this year??  ESPNU is even lower than ESPN2.

jaypeter

I think I heard it would be ESPNU.  Still not sure who the broadcast team will be.

D O.C.

Gordon and Kieth are both well versed in Southern teams being from the area so that may be the reason.

I do not really think this one will be boring.  I suspect both teams have little surprising schemes they have set aside for each other JUST in case they landed where they did.

34-17 Warhawks. That's my prediction, we'll see how it holds up.

Wesley 34-17 Warhawks works for me ;)
No way they score 34 on us. Win or lose, NO WAY they score 34 on us!!!!
