I cop to stealing this one from facebook:   ;D

"It has been said that the British army wore red coats so that if they got shot their opponents would not know that they were bleeding. I guess that explains why the Packers wear yellow pants."
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

"Three things you don't want to be in football, slow, small and friendly!"  John Madden

The Seven Dwarfs were marching through the forest one day when they fell in a deep, dark ravine. Snow White, who was following along, peered over the edge of the steep chasm and called out to the fallen dwarfs. From the depths of the dark hole a voice returned, "The Bears are Super Bowl contenders."
Snow White thought to herself, "Thank God... at least Dopey's survived!"

Why do Chicago Bear players keep their Wonderlic results on their dash boards?
So they can park in the handicap spaces.

Yes the bears have over achieved this year. However the PACKERS have overcome numerous injuries this year to key players. Some experts are even saying that Mike McCarthy should be the COACH OF THE YEAR.
No matter who wins it will be fun to see what Rex Ryan says in the two weeks before the game.

Happy New Year All and thanks for the many funny jokes I can add to my arsenal.
I've developed a theory on how to pick the winner of most football games- and it should apply to the Bears - Packers nicely.
The team that wins will be the team that most resembles UWW's style of play when playing a team that most resembles Mt Union's style of play.  Using this theory, it is clear the Bears should be 10 point victors.

Is there going to be a football team event at a basketball game this year like they have done previously? Where you can get championship stuff signed by senior players and the coaches?  I need that for my collection  :)

If Rex Ryan was the head coach for the Bears he would be playing the NO RESPECT card as the bears are three point underdogs, as well as the #1 see and playing at home. Yet not favored to win.
The Packers and Bears rivalry is not what it use to be when the teams totally disliked each other in the past. The coaches can't even say they hate the other team with a straight face.

I wouldn't be surprised if that stuff is being said behind closed doors in Halas Hall, away from the media.

I am with you 02. However it is always more entertaining to hear the players say it to the media. Rex Ryan is extremely entertaining, and it's not him being cocky it's his confidence in himself and his team to win that makes him special. I hope the jets win so we can listen to him for a couple more weeks. No matter who they play it will be entertaining to watch him.
For all the Bears fans if the bears lose do they give Lovie a contract exstension????? I am sure they will if they win and make the super bowl but fi they lsoe do they give him the exstension.

I think so...how could they not? they won the division when everyone thought they would finish towards the bottom of the NFC North. Finished second in the NFC with a first-round bye. Regardless of what happens sunday, this was a successsful season for the bears and Lovie Smith.

The bear aren't the #1 seed, Atlanta was the #1 seed.  The bear are playing at home but they are the #2 seed.  The odds I heard quoted yesterday have them three point favorites.  ???

I think the younger Packers fans tend to dislike Minnesota more than Chicago but a lot of the older fans still see the bears as the team to dislike.
