BoBo, we are just going to have to see what we see. Another of those 5-4 seasons, I guess.

K78, any pictures of the Perkins with snow and ice? Only time I've ever fallen down at a football game.

Those are so refreshing to look at!!  I just love it.  Yes, it's really hot and humid.  ;)

Had a dream last night that the Semifinals this year were Wabash v Linfield and Whitewater v St. Thomas, UWW was rolling and we were all just watching to see who they'd play in the Stagg. Yay for unlikely results!  :P

Check out the Warhawkfootballcom HawkTube video of snow removal prior to the 12/10 Division III semifinal between Linfield and the Warhawks following a foot of snow the day prior to the game.

Thank you, gents. I slipped in the sand today.

I was at the beach the other day. . . I had sand kicked in my face.

I'm never going to the beach again.

One time while playing touch football on the beach I got sand in my eye.

A little WIAC recruiting news from the Gazette:

Recruits

Does anyone know if UWW practices are closed or open to the public?

BoBo

Oh, BTW voice, you never told us who is going to try to fill your mic on the broadcasts this fall.  Have I missed the audition deadline? My professional resume does include some commercial voice-over work and recording audio books . . . and I've been told I have a face for radio!!  ;)  I believe I would be a natural. How 'bout a recommendation?

I'm not sure during preseason, but I have been able to watch a few during the season though.

I know UWO will be looking to replace, according to their posted 2-deep roster, 3 on offense (WR, SB, RG) and 3 on defense (DE, CB, WLB).  Looks like they have a lot of talent in the DE position and a CB who got some decent playing time last year. It looks as though the WLB will be making his first start this year...I'm sure he is well prepared for the opportunity. Not as familiar on the offensive side of the ball. I plan to be at the home opener (and season opener) on 9/3 against Central College.

How are other WIAC teams shaping up heading into camp?

I'm curious if Pirtle (RB - Whitewater) put back on some weight he appeared to have lost between HS and his freshman year (we measured him at ~180 while UWW weighed him at 169)...he had a lot of power for a HS athlete at 180 lbs...I'm sure the offseason strength program put him back on track.

oshfb,

Do you expect a large following going to Alliance to play the Raiders on 9-10-11?
