I can't give it 2 u that easy....but this is pretty ez....Racine Park kid who has played at a high level D2 the last few years and had incredible success....

What organization named him an AA?  DIIfootball.com  had three underclassmen AA defensive backs (all second team) and none of them are from Racine.  The AFCA's site only lists the first team and three of them are seniors.  The one underclassman is the same as was listed on the other site.

Maybe he's assuming he'll be an AA at the DIII level.

My apologies on all of that....he technically was not an AA, however he was a 2010 preseason AA selection.  First Team All-NSIC 2009 and 2010, and a 2009 Daktronics Second Team All District in D2.....thats factual.

wow...if that's true, he'll be a nice addition to an already strong secondary.

Hamilton

Last season we was third on the team in tackles and had a team-high three picks. Looks like he's also  the team's primary kick returner.

Wonder why the transfer? If indeed what A14 is saying is true.

I wonder if they may try him at corner?  Safety seems like a spot w quite a few returnees.

It's more a matter of having been told for five weeks in a row that he could play, but then didn't, that now I'm waiting to see him actually take a snap before considering him for that high a pedestal.

I am sure he will play, but you can probably see why there's room for doubt in my mind.

Pat

With all due respect and you have earned plenty, after reading the above justification, I have even a harder time with your answer.   The coaches make the decisions on who plays, not the player.   So are you devalueing what was accomplished prior to the playoffs because of coaching decisions during the playoffs or are you thinking he wont play this year because of that injury.

By the way, he looked great in spring practice.

Time to plan the Lacrosse trip. Anybody know if there is a preferred hotel to stay Sat night?

Re All American selections. I believe Matt Blanchard had a Jr year that rivals any numbers put up by preseason selections at QB.
I look forward to a great year for him and believe he will be All American (staying healthy).
I also look for Logan Allemond to recieve significant praise with All American potential.

I have to be honest...I had to look him up b/c I didn't recognize his name. But, hopefully you're right
about the young O-lineman.
02- if you have the 2010 Stagg Bowl recorded, watch him play at right tackle. I was watching it recently and he caught my eye. In fact, I was caught off guard in how well he performed.

I'm a little nervous going into this season with this new line.

Logan played right guard.  Ryan Olson played a great deal at right tackle through the year and he is back.  Jimmy Norris will be at left guard and he played a great deal during the season, including starting and playing the entire game against Trine.  This O-Line will be like the 09 line that came into the season unknown and unproven and will prove themselves during the year.

Looks like Jared Jenkins got an invite to camp from the Detroit Lions.  No guarantees, but he's at least got a shot at making a team!

Short stay in Detroit for Jenkins:

It would appear that the Lions weren't considering him as a punter.  Detroit's punter, Nick Harris, ranked 6th (overall) in the league last year with a 44.6 yard average (T6th) and a 35.8 yard net (25th).

Thanks for correction WHD. I'll have to revisit the Stagg tape and watch the RG play- glad to have another reason to watch it.
I'm excited to watch that Norris kid on the oline- especially as he is representing the high school my
kids attend.
Any ideas on the Center position?  Big shoes to fill there.

I stumbled upon the "mathematically significant" rankings for Division III.  I know it's not the D3 Football rankings, but it is football related and as such, a temporary fix for my football jones'in.
