What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Brian Carroll

The weather man says temps in the 70s and possible rain for the game in La Crosse. Let's hope it stops before kickoff. GO EAGLES. I hope all our WW friends enjoy their trip to La Crosse.

Hey, Guys, just checking.  Will the radio broadcast be on 106 Kool as usual tonight?  I have been looking but can't confirm it so far.  It won't be the same without Voice but we will be able to follow the game there, right?  If not, looks like LAX does have an audio feed too.

Thanks for the link to 2011 UWW Roster Bobo.

I seize the opportunity to get "...some love..." on voice's eye on football blog & I get thrown under the bus like I had nothing to do with it. Offers like this don't just grow on trees. Whew, I'm speechless!!   :-X  Oh well, tomorrow's another day!!  ;)

If you are on the sidelines during practice, the one thing that coaches are always yelling out to the players in FINISH IT

There are also players that need to be kicked in the a** to play at the highest level. Then there are players that need to spoon-fed complements and that a boys

Hey everybody - Bobo is the reason I was able to upload the 2011 UWW roster onto http://www.voiceseyeonfootball.blogspot.com/ even though his source did not include this weekend's two-deep roster. Just kidding!

Nice day so far for the WIAC - could be great if Eau Claire finishes well in Tennessee!

I chalk up the performance to just being rusty, like the opener last year. Next week won't be like last year because Franklin is a good team and no Dakota State but I still suspect a nice win where the offense can finish its drives.

Add Wisconsin-Whitewater to the mix with a 26-7 victory over LAX

Congrats to the Pointers on their Northwest coast win, (what a hard fought defensive battle,) and to the Titans For making living with 17 difficult this week!   ;D  With the BluGolds losing, shot my pick ems all to heck but that goes for a lot of us.  Congrats to my WARHAWKS! Going to need to find the end zone, however, by next week.  Listening to the LAX broadcast was brutal, BTW.  Anyone know what happened to the our broadcast on 106.5?  Did it finally come on because they were playing music when the game began but I didn't check it after that. Was busy trying to listen to the game while a birthday party was going on.

It may be a tad early in the year to think about post-season playoff seeds but last year the # 1,undefeated D 3 team in the nation, UWW I think had to travel twice (?) in the playoffs. Now other than being totally wrong, do you think that by playing lower level teams in the early part of the season hurts their chances of post-season placement? I mean, they had to go all the way to Wesley I believe to play a game and then waxed them anyway but..does this make sense in how that schedule impacts a great team like WW? It also seemed ( or seems?) that the selection folks want to create any so-called reasonable opportunity for WW not to dominate. I would be interested in other's take on this.

I thought the UWL defensive and special teams acquitted themselves pretty well against WW. The offense, however, was all but non-existant- having only 119 yds. and a late TD. Did WW still have the first team in at that point ? The offensive problems were not surprising in light of the fact that a new system is being installed, and there are a number of new faces. A trip to Texas awaits, and then Coach Detweiler's first trip to his alma mater. That strikes me as a critical test for the new regime.
