I was just wondering, whenever I go to "Post reply," (which is often!) all the little buttons and such above they writing box load up, except the "sad" emoticon. I get a red X where it should be. Does anybody else have this same thing happen or am I just the runt of the litter? It bugs the H E double toothpick out of me!!

Instead of displaying the emoticon, I just get the word "Sad"

:(  I guess it works when I just click on the word.

Yea, I get the X and the word Sad, too. Ok, good to know I'm not alone.

Guesses on the UW-Oshkosh versus Mount Union score tomorrow?

I anticipated a 24-17 score with the Packers over the Saints...my guess needed to be doubled to be closer. At least I got the winner correct :D

45-17

I hope it's the other way around though.

Nice article about the 2001 Army/Navy Game played in the aftermath of 9/11, written from the words of those who played the game and later served our country. As someone who's witnessed in person more than 10 Army/Navy games, it gave me goosebumps.

Good projections, seem pretty spot on to me, BP.
BTW, one small correction.  UMHB are the, "say it loud and proud,"  CRUSADERS! Not tigers!

Nice W for the Cougars, 413.  Undoubtedly it was the defense. :D

You are right 413. I will make the correction. I KNEW that didn't sound right. I was thrown off by the fact they play on Tiger Field.

Thanks, BW.  Undoubtedly!  ;D Coach was pretty happy that the first unit only gave up 38 yards in the first half.  Only points scored was in garbage time.  2-2 now with, hopefully, more wins to come. The two losses were really tough so the Cougars needed a big win!

Ahhhh, Tiger Field, one of the most brutal stadiums we have ever played at.  First, you have the ever present heat and then you have an end zone full of students pounding on drums during the entire time we were on offense and no rules against noisemakers!  Makes our canon shot after TD's look like child's play!
Good luck to the Eagles.  That should be real fun after a 20+ hour bus ride.   ;D

One thing I really like is looking at myself after a game and saying, "what the hell were you worried about."  I didn't expect it to be a blow out.

A couple quick hits:

Hate to say it, but I honestly did. Had a spirited give and take with a couple other UWW posters on the Top 25 fan board over it who thought otherwise. Didn't get to see much of the game, however (tuned in a the start of the 4th with Brekke in a QB leading 42-0). But, listening to the Franklin TV, sounds like it was a lessons taught day in Indiana.

Mount wins by 24 over the Titans, too.

Wesley lost to Kean 31-28 - KABOOM

Eau Claire putting up 40+ at St. Johns and driving for more. Hmmm.

Was hoping River Falls was going to put up more with St. Thomas (31-3 3rd quarter)
