Sorry for the tech questions.
From what I understand, I have to store a photo (upload to a URL)- now I get it 02.
However, I did that with flickr, however, I think if I paste the URL inside the it won't show as a picture, but as a link to a page of my pictures.

Thanks

That might be my problem as well. I want to post a picture from my computer, not from the internet.

OK, I'll try to flickr thing.

Here is a link to the picture.  It is a picture of the seat cushion sold as part of the fundraising drive to build Warhawk Stadium. Would be fun to know how much these babies raised!!  ;D

When doing my research, the Whitewater archives office forwarded me this:

On the far right was the "Quakers" logo. Then came the original "Warhawk" logo of the Indiana. then, of course, it was changed to the Warhawk bird.

They forwarded a blank space?  :-\
I think you're missing something with your code - at least a "]" after the first img, but then I only get a X where the image is suppose to be. Need a solution.

The Quaker looks like a hobo pilgrim, which is ok except for the hobo part.

There was actually a different Indian Warhawk head shot logo for the middle one or maybe it just looked different when it was in color.

The Warhawk on horse back was very cool back in the day!!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words regarding my "These are the Good Old Days" blog entry.  I appreciate them!

O2 Warhawk, thanks for the research and the info on the nicknames.  Great idea and very fun to read.

I have to say, I have laughed while Perk told the story many times.  Too passive is right! As soon as he arrived the Quaker nickname was dead on arrival!  Whoever submitted the name "Warhawks", I just want to thank you!!

bp, do you have a copy of one of those old Warhawk logo's prior to the bird?  If so, could you post it?

That middle one? Wow. Times were different, huh?

Wow, that's a blast from the past!!  We had a few of them things, but the fact that you still have one after all these years is rather amazing.

This is like 'turn back the clock' week!! I like it.  :)

Just figured it out, 17, I think.  To upload a picture from your computer, click "attachments and other options," under the reply box and then click, "browse," and find your pic to attach.  Then it shows when you post.

Actually a buddy took the picture and sent it to me.  We had a bunch of em too.  I felt the same way. That picture definitely evoked great memories of the past!

A nice article....and thank you for sharing the link.  It was a fun read.   Allow me a clarification.  Being a Blugold is more than a color chart reference.  To be a Blugold is to recognize ourselves as our school.  What is a Blugold?  I am a Blugold...as is any one of the thousands of students to walk through Schofield Hall...along the banks of the Chippewa...on Wisconsin's most beautiful
campus.  It is a Blugold helping Blugold philosophy that binds us through the years. And thank God we're not the Normalities.  So then, here is to the Blugolds!  Sing it with me....Eau Claire College dear, Hail to thee my alma mater.  Strong through every year, Hail to thee the Blue and
Gold ... U Rah Rah....

02 Warhawk

To tell you the truth, I don't think I ever attempted to post and image from my PC...It's always been off the interweb  :D

02 Warhawk

I posted some write-ups about the up coming WIAC games this weekend. Feel free to use them before you make your selections on the WIAC Pickems*. To tell you the truth, after doing a little about the Oshkosh/Eau Claire game, I went back and changed my pick.  :-X

www.wiacfootball.blogspot.com

I'm agreeing with everyone when they say that this Oshkosh/Eau Claire is going to the best WIAC game to-date. It should be a barn burner!!!!
