Watched a good portion of the UWW/UWP game on FSN North. You guys deserve better camera work. What's with the close in when plays are being run and half the players are out of the frame, or end up running out of the frame? Somebody get those techs on the ball ( or maybe more off the ball).

That and the color analyst kept saying "coach Leipold (Lee-a-pold)," but I would assume Lance gets that a lot.

I bet he was thinking of Aldo Leopold (Lee-a-pold), the UW-Madison professor, environmentalist  and founder of the science of wildlife management. He is best known for his 1949 book A Sand County Almanac. The book was published a year after his death. Was the color analyst Bill Brophy?  He was the Madison sports anchor who I believe now does work for FSN. He's not always accurate in his reporting, IMO.

I obviously have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to posting a picture (easy..), but I will keep trying.

Bobo- I figure he was younger and as such may have developed his pronunciation from one of Coach L's other successes (I hope this is taken as funny and not as offensive).

No, I don't think so. A. Leopold is a very famous guy around this state. And that's who he was thinking of...I guarantee it!!   Well, I'm pretty sure!! Maybe!!

Nice job bp. SP v ST should be close, as you predict. Although the Devils seem to trip over the advertising on the field in the end.  :P

Maybe it was former U of M hockey standout, and Hobie Baker Award winner, Jordan Leopold. Well, maybe that's a stretch. :D

Sorry 413 don't mean to be a DebbyDowner.  Nothing would please me more than to wake up Saturday morning and learn that the Cougars put a beat down on Verona.   Well, honestly, there are a few things that would please me more but seeing a Cougars' win would put a smile on my face.  I do think they'll win next week.
Yup, there was a beat down put on someone last night but it was not the Cougars who did it, unfortunately.   Final score, 52-14 Verona.  I guess there is a reason, they are now 8 and 0.   :'(   Just teasing you about the pessimism, BW.  I greatly appreciate your interest and support.   :-*

^^^ Didn't take too long fbf413.  I can't believe River Falls doesn't have live stats or video.  I remember they had video last year; I wonder what happened? I notice that much of their football website is down, also.

Gotta keep the FIB's pipeline going to the Perk, Sak!  Lord knows, the Wiscy boys couldn't have done all this championship stuff without em.   ;) :D ;D

Blugold 89.7FM

Listening to the EC vs Oshkosh game it was clearly a game of two halves.  While the
Titans did forge back in the second, the fumble by the Blugolds at the end of the first clearly hurt.  This Blugold team has been so determined this year.  They are a multi faceted team.  Oshkosh's QB came on in the second....and it's clear he's an amazing athlete.  However the single mindedness of the Titan offense is predictable. Yes hard to stop.  But predictable.  then again you cannot argue against their win.  I think there is still plenty of game left in the Blugolds. And this was an exciting game right up to the last tick of the clock.  My hat's off to Austin Neu he gave it his all today. Congrats to Oshkosh.
