I know where that thought is coming from, but my thought is to play the ball, not the reciever. It usually leads to less PI calls. Making a play on the ball is better than just sorta throwing your arms up and tackling the reciever IMO.

Maybe, but I trust Borland. He seems to know what he's doing.

I trust him too, but I know I'll be glad to have McCollum back next year!  ;)

As well as Josh Williams, not too mention a bunch others from the secondary.

Guys, next year is next year...let's play Albion first and then so on!!  :)

Was just lurking on the MIAA Board and saw an interesting post by Mr. Ypsi.

Here is the quote:  "I'm pretty confident we take down Monmouth (though Tanney scares the hell  out of me) and in the d3 Pickems I even have IWU upsetting UST!  In fact, 'homer' that I am, I then have IWU beating DelVal, before losing to UWW in the semis.  I also have NCC beating everyone (including UMU) right up to the Sragg, though losing to UWW in the ultimate game."

I am not sure how to take this kind of post from Mr. Ypsi, but thought I would share it with WIAC  fans.

Getting Josh back next year helps an already deep linebacking corp, especially with #51 graduating.   As far as the secondary, the only other DB I can think of that we might get back besides McCollum is Jesse Hamilton.  Is that who you were thinking of O2?

Hamilton will be gone.

Wenkman is a junior, Keister is a sophomore, Timm is a junior and Blaszkowski is a junior. With the edition to McCollum...we'll be solid in the secondary.

I thought Hamilton would be gone and I misunderstood your post.  When you said getting back, I thought from injury, not returning.   Yep, we will have a very good secondary next year.  Our issue will not be defense, it will be how does Brekke respond to being #1 and who will replace Coppage.

With no proof whatsoever I have a feeling we may be seeing the return of Mr. Pirtle. Giving him 3 years of elegibility to start. Ward remains as the #2 back. Or I could be completely wrong!

That's what I'm worried about.

Yes, bleedpurple, I know....I'm always worried about something.

Speaking of bleed purple....I may have already posted this (so sorry if this was a repeat post), but I was in UWW's bookstore a few weeks ago and I saw a shirt I wanted to buy for bleedpurple.

It said something along the lines of: I Bleed Purple and White

;D

Good thing the battle of the line will not be a battle to see who can pass the CPA exam  :)  From one accountant to another, props to these Albion guys!

There are tons of UWW people around that have passed the CPA exam (Including yours truly).  Even though I still have some eligibility left, I would look for some younger Warhawk souls - cuz I think we can match up with any school for CPA muscle.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Was that right about being completely wrong?

Didn't sakman say in these pages recently that something is brewing in the pipeline for next year?
