I have decided to post my blog/write-up/analysis of the game here......

UWW has an unfair advantage because they have over 10,000 students to choose from, and hold open try-outs at least three or four times a year.
UWW should move up to D-II AT LEAST, if not all the way up to D-IAA.
UWW uses unfair game tactics...their lineman are too big and athletic, and their skill people practice "trickery" against their opponents regularly.

Game prediction.......Mount wins by 10!   ;) 8-)

I've heard that sometimes they "pretend" to hand the ball to the running back, but then instead throw it to a wide receiver. How unsporting!

Worst of all sometimes our defensive players catch passes that our opponents intended to throw to their own receivers.

There ought to be a rule against that.  :D

I heard the Warhawks use voodoo and witchcraft too!!!  I believe I even heard the LL sold his soul to the Devil in 2010 to make sure Whitewater never lost to the Raiders again.

I hear the UWW players are ALL transfers from D-1 programs and their tuition only costs $1.00!   8-)

The #33 clan will be watching the game at the Mad Boor in Whitewater for the 4th straight year in a row.  Feel free to come and join us but I will warn you, watching it on TV instead of in person does, in no way, dissuade me from my, "DEFENSE," chants!   ;D

I heard all the players get course credit for the time they spend in film study.

And I heard rumors of the great WI swap-a-roo.  Aaron Rodgers is really the guy wearing the Warhawk #15 jersey and Clay Matthews puts his hair up in a bun and wears the Warhawk #51 jersey.

Now I know why so many posters picked UWW to win by +10 points.

The NCAA has a new rule for the D3 Championship:

Any team that has already won, must only play the number of players after deducting the number
of times they have won the title.

This means Mount Union can only play one player on Offense and only one on Defense ( 10 title deduction)

UWW conversely has to deduct 3 players and can only play eight on Offense and only eight on Defense (3 title deduction)

So 8 to 1 means the Warkhawks are favored by the +10 ! :) ;D

I say now is a good time to revive the Leipold – Zweifel controversy.   ???

If Mount Union's one is Cecil Shorts, I'd say they still have a chance.

413, it's too bad you can't come down & watch the Purple StaggVII.  It's been too long since I've seen you & your family!! If I weren't retiring, I might have offered to pay your way! Believe me, you're missed I sure hope I'll be lucky enough to meet Matt this evening at the Gagliardi banquet.  Hoping to sit the OLINERS. UWW ones of course.

Thanks for the kind words.  It isn't about the cost but more about the fact that, after leaving Salem the first two times totally devastated from the losses, the third and last time, we left as National Champions.  The feeling was so amazing and I just can't bring myself to risk having that memory tainted.  ;) 8-) But watching it in our family room is too anticlimactic so that is why we go to a bar in Whitewater where we can still share the experience with other fans and some very special EX-WARHAWKS. It works!
