I know! Just crazy!  But in all fairness, he was a Cowboy until last summer!   The season has taken a rediculous turn for the worse over the last several weeks for us Bears fan.    .  At least his absence from the field won't be noticed.

For UW-Whitewater football fans - KOOL 106.5 & 940 WFAW will be simulcasting a Stagg Bowl preview show Friday morning (9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Central Time) live from the Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center - the UW-Whitewater team hotel in Roanoke.

The "radio voices" of Warhawk football, Gary Douglas and Arnie Peck will be joined by the rest of the Whitewater media crew for Championship Friday  Among the gang's special guests will be former Hawk head coach Bob Berezowitz.

Congrats are in order to UWW's DB Jared Kiesow. For the second year in a row, he has received the NCAA's Elite 89 Award at the Spotlight on Champions banquet at the Stagg Bowl, in Salem Thursday evening. The award is given to the student athlete with the highest cumulative grade point at the final event at each of the eighty-nine National Collegiate Athletic Association championship events (last year the award was known as the Elite 88 Award).

That's too funny, but I don't think you need to worry about me leading a double life as a journalist.  As an engineer, it took everything I had to write the Triple Take for the front page.  Numbers are my friend, not words........

Hopefully J Murray went to the tanning bed yesterday so the average UWW fan doesn't notice it's him in LC's #33 jersey tonight.

bp, I read on the triple take, you said the no turnover streak stood at 7 games, isn't it 8 games now? That new stat program being used on the warhawk website is very unfriendly to use IMO. I am completely frustrated trying to figure the blasted thing out.

Oh, I totally agree!  Glad it's not just me.  For example, I was doing my weekly research yesterday for the final pick 'ems of the season, (sad thought,) and one of the stats I was looking at didn't include any games past the FC game.

The Hawks have played 7 games since Oshkosh, where they turned the ball over twice.  They have not turned it over since.  I sent an email to Tom (SID) regarding the new format. I didn't complain per se, but I did indicate I could not tell how to access "play by play".  I do much prefer the other format. Not sure what would have prompted the switch.
