From someone watching in the stands feeling the emotion it was a great victory.  The  defense was outstanding.  Ryan Cortez had a monster game.   Noah Kimm was great as well.  The offense won the field position battle and did not make any mistakes after the first drive. 

3 Peat Baby!!!  It is almost 2 a.m. here and the party is still going.   Just a great group of players and coaching staff and a bunch of fun parents and fans.

Lastly, my hats off to Mt. Union for a great season and a hard fought game.  I really don't care what the naysayers say.   This game was a tribute to D-III football and I hope to see  Mount again next year in Salem.

Kris Rosholt should get a game ball, too.  Five of his 6 punts pinned the Raiders inside their own 20 yard line. He and the punt coverage team contributed to the field position victories. The offensive allowed him to punt near mid-field repeatedly. It was a total team effort.

Congrats Warhawks from Blue Devil country. You've done the WIAC proud, once again! 

My congrats are different than my good friend, BDB.  You guys  have not done us proud.  What you continue to do with your excellence is allow the rest of us to use the same old lame excuse that we beat each other up in this "Best conference in the land" talk.  Bull ****.  You guys are the best in the land.  We, collectively, are average.  Time for the rest of us to pick up the pace or quit talking about our dominance.  It's not our dominance, it's your dominance.

9 years or so ago I sat in the stands and watched Mount Union monkey stomp Whitewater during my sons red shirt year and then the next year they beat us pretty bad in Ohio.....after that 7 trips to the finals, 4 national championships,and 45 wins in a row. My son told me they were getting pretty good but this run is unbelievable. Great players, great coaching, and some luck has made for great success.....Continue to Pound the Rock......Congrats to all......

Sakman-The 02 game was only a 14 point difference 42-28. The 03 game was bad. However the worse game during your sone career was the 06 stagg bowl where a true MONEKY STOMP was given the hawks by the purle raiders. Where the only touchdown was set up by a long kickoff return and that wr that every hawk fan loves to hate Garcone made WW look really bad. However thats why he is in the league. Any way the 45 game winning streak is simply impressive

...at that time, they were both, equally bad.  However, they served a greater purpose, unknown at that time which we may now be reaping the benefits of today!!    So, in hindsight, maybe they were both equally good.

As I mentioned on the MIAC board, to be the best you've got to beat the best. The Warhawks certainly do not look like they are going to give up their grip on "Best in D3 Football" anytime soon!
