Ahh, UWW recruiting going on full speed now. The future Warhawks are for the first time meeting coaches, watching Warhawk highlights and dreaming of their own key contributions to ongoing success.

I can still remember my recruiting trip to Whitewater....what a blast.  Oh and the school was nice too. ::)

The recruiting trip was nice, but I really enjoyed orientation weekend (well, some parts of it).  Let's see, I was oriented with McGillicuddies, The Pumping Station, Mitchells, The College Pub ...

I guess the blueprint for orientation weekend didn't change much over the years... except we had to go to a UWW basketball game prior to getting a tour of the downtown area.

After watching the 49ers today.....How bad a head coach was Mike Singletary.....evidently pretty bad.....

Harbaugh is better than a lot of coaches.

Have to say....I didn't hate that Packers/Giants outcome   ;D

The refs did what they could to keep it close.

I gave you +karma for this and will keep a close eye on it over the next 24-48 hours or so.  Think you are going need some counter balance for a few days.     :D ;D

If I didn't know both of you personally you could count on a couple days worth of smiting from me!!!

Just kidding, I don't smite very often.  The whole karma is stupid.

LOL, nice!   Good to know us FIB's can get a free pass occassionally due to our Warhawk/WIAC allegiance.

I guess I was surprised watching the game with my Wisconsin born wife and Packer fan that I really didn't care about the outcome( have grown to hate the Vikings much more).....Just surprised Manning would outplay Rodgers.......Had Grant on my fantasy team.....HE SUCKS!!!....

We're amongst friends here so you're safe i think.
Although I'm not a FIB based Packer hater, I am not a fan of their type of offense.  It wins a lot of games but I just don't trust it for the big game. Give me a 49'ers or Giants' offense (as in UWW style) over the Air attack (as in Mt style).
Question for Packer Nation- did the return of Jennings throw the rythem of the offense off?

badgerwarhawk

No, the Giants' defensive pressure threw the rhythm off.   That and dropping 25% of the passes thrown.

Packlers were flat and out of sync, played their worst game of the year... The Giants capitalized on the Packer mistakes, and created them, too, and pretty much just spanked them...

As badgerwarhawk noted, they dropped too many passes, had no rhythm and couldn't generate any momentum... They had some costly turnovers; the Giants D was a factor in that - they swarmed, ball-hawked, hit hard and stripped the ball away...

The Packer D was bending all year, but finally picked the wrong time to break... The Giants picked up every pass rusher (the Packer rush was pathetic), and Manning seemed to find holes all over the secondary; it appeared the Packers were always playing with a man short on D.

Oh well....

Good luck, Matt.

FANTASTIC!!!!!
I was hoping he'd get an opportunity like this.  He is a great athlete and IMO has lots of upside.  I'm not sure what his pocket passing skills are, but I would imagine he will pick up skills quickly with excellent coaching.
Go Matt.
