UWO announces their 2012 Schedule including non-conference against Central College who finished 7-3 in 2011 and Alma College who finished 2-8 in 2011. They have 5 home games and 5 away games. However, only 2 home games during WIAC conference play. WIAC non-conference game against UWL, a team UWO has only beaten once in the last 30-ish years.

Sept. 1 Central College (Iowa)   Oshkosh
Sept. 8 or 15 UW-La Crosse (NC)   Oshkosh
Sept. 22 Alma College (Mich.)   Alma, Mich.
Sept. 29  UW-River Falls   River Falls
Oct. 6 UW-Eau Claire   Oshkosh
Oct. 13 UW-Platteville (Homecoming)    Oshkosh
Oct. 20 UW-Whitewater   Whitewater
Oct. 27 UW-La Crosse   La Crosse
Nov. 3 UW-Stevens Point    Oshkosh
Nov. 10 UW-Stout   Menomonie

Oshb- this season is the "where the rubber meets the road" season for OshKosh IMO.
They had a nice run last year and gained significant national respect. Was it just a blip or are they real challengers?

In scanning the WIAC sports websites, I see that EC, Osh, Plat, and Stout have their schedules up for 2012 (Plat has a 9 game list with an open date).  A few notables:

Conference schedule is just a flip from 2011.  Same weekends, same opponents, just flip home and away from 2011.

Nonconf match-ups:  EC at Plat, LaC at Osh, Stout at RF.  Looks like Point at UWW (since UWW at Point in October)

Eau Claire opens with St Thomas and St John's at home to (so far, at least) claim the most robust non-conf schedule.  Stout travels to North Central, certainly a challenge.

La Crosse has also posted their Non-Conference Schedule:

UW-LA CROSSE FOOTBALL

Sept. 1 at North Central (Ill.) (nc)

Sept. 6 at Northern Michigan (nc)

Sept. 15 at UW-Oshkosh (nc)

Sept. 22 Off

Sept. 29 at Stevens Point

Oct. 6 vs. Platteville

Oct. 13 at Eau Claire

Oct. 20 vs. Stout

Oct. 27 vs. Oshkosh

Nov. 3 at River Falls

Nov. 10 vs. Whitewater

Yeah, heard that.  I believe that's a UWW away game - so 1 (hopefully home) game to fill.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Hmm...hard to determine but I think LC has to be a close second as they travel TO North Central and travel TO DII Northern Michigan (who I know only finished 4-7 in 2011, but they are DII).

I think you might be right...although they have quite a few holes to fill at the skill positions and OL. Same was said for the 2006 season after finishing 7-3 (4-3 conf) in 2005...and we finished a dissapointing 5-5 (3-4 conf).

Yes, it a road game. I don't know if it's a home/home series or just a single meeting.
