I don't know any transfers but that brings up a question- what transfers have had the biggest impact on UWW football during this run from 2005 season?
I don't have the history so I'll throw out some obvious names in no particular order:
Matt Blanchard-QB
Danny Jones-QB
Lane Olson- LB

Greg Arnold - LB
Robby Ustruck - OL

Both First Team All-Americans

Besides, when has Wesley ever been in front of us in a presason poll?

Not with the D3football poll, but those other polls that have little or no knowledge of DIII football regularly over-value Wesley and under-value UWW. Hey, maybe we have something here?  Not a big deal, I agree!! Just something to talk about.

In the last decade, the current decade, and future decades Wesley will never beat the Warhawks.......their one victory was getting the cannon removed from the stadium......

Blanchard Article.
There was a nice article today on Matt Blanchard on a subscription site (something like chiscout.com- Bear Report).  I can't link it due to subscription status, but in it Matt says:
"The pressure on rookies at this level is considerable but it's not unexpected. I welcome the challenge and plan to succeed. I understand that I am coming out of a small college and the competition wasn't anywhere as difficult as what I will face in the NFL. But I still believe that football is football. If you understand how to win, if you are willing to put in the time on the field and in the film room you can play against anybody."

Go Matt!!

How does one get to be an ESPN on air personality in the first place...especially when you've never played the game?  And I'm not talking about playing in the backyard with male siblings.  I could never quite understand a women broadcasting football. Now, if footballfan413 got a gig doing it, I think that would be different!!   ;)

(how's that for a suck up job!!)

You might be sucking up but it makes it no less true, BoBo!   ;) ;D  Good riddance to Pam and her 4-3-5 defense.   >:(

Hi guys, back from Minnesota.  Hope you are all well.  I don't believe that Lance was a transfer. He was on the roster for 4 years and started out playing special teams until he cracked the starting line up.

This is fantastic and to have this wonderful video to promote both Matt and the Warhawk program, what a coup!   :)

I believe that video was made for the Gagliardi Trophy ceremony last December. They showed the school produced video as they introduced each finalist - or so I recall if my memory serves me correctly.  ;)

Yes, I knew I had seen it before at the ceremony. But to have a video of this quality at the ready and have it played now,  on sites like this, is fantastic.  The program couldn't buy this kind of exposure.
