Sweet, I just sent over a question that I've always been curious about.

Thanks

On an unrelated note, I'm thinking of starting a question and answer section on my blog too. It's called Ask BoBo Anything. He can shed light on life's mysteries and enlighten us with his wisdom.....What do you think?? The line forms to the left folks  ;)    :D

I want to know how he got so much smarter than me if we both went to UWW (boy did I set myself up here).  ;D

Half of being smart is knowing what you're dumb at.

And, oh, BTW, I didn't go to UWW.  So, there must be other forces at work to make me smarter.    :D

No, he grew up in Whitewater or at least lived there for some of his childhood.  He actual went to, (cough/cough,) LAX for his undergrad, I believe.    >:(  Right BoBo?

This isn't a football story but a story on the continuing excellence of UW-Whitewater athletes "across the board."

Posted earlier this evening on Facebook....  BREAKING: UW-Whitewater alumnus Dan Hytinen advances to finals of Olympic Trials in discus. #Olympics #Discus

In 2008 Dan was the National Division III Track and Field Athlete of the Year.

voice, just to close the book on this, he improved from 9th after the prelim's to finish in 7th place.

Regarding coach Miech, I think it's a great story given the history with Lance's father. I don't remember the years he coached Jefferson- was he Lance's high school coach?

If anyone has time to kill (like stuck in a drivers license facility or air quality testing center)- I recommend checking out the WIAC Post Patterns threads from prior years. I really enjoyed reading the 2005 thread as the team began the run.

you might be   ;)

Do the questions have to be football related?  I can't get my friend's GMC Jimmy to take a charge by jumping it.

The 2011 National Champion WARHAWKS were recognized prior to Saturday night's Milwaukee Brewers game.  Coach Liepold threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Reports are that it was strike.

As I reported three weeks ago I have been diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer and face the "battle of my life" over the next several months.  It is rather ironic that I used my Warhawkfootball.com over the past couple of years to assist former UW-Whitewater football players A. J. Raebel and Art Gutierrez in there repective battles with cancer.  A.J., a teacher and coach in Janesvile remains cancer free. Unfortunately Art lost his battle with colorectal cancer last December.  I wanted readers to know about the warning signs of cancer - something I failed to do myself over the past several months. Now I'm paying the price.

I have posted the first story on my Website to update readers on my situation.  If these stories can help just one reader to be aware of the warning signs and visit the doctor the stories will be worth it!!

Thanks for the info. Prayers for you! Just as a side note, one of the best runners I ever coached had this type of cancer. She was only in her late 20's when diagnosed. She didn't know the warning signs.
