Wish I could but it just isn't going to work out this weekend.  Combined with the game in Michigan and the bye week I probably won't see UWL play until October!  I'm having withdrawals already.

UWO has posted its depth chart (and new website).
http://www.uwoshkoshtitans.com/sports/fball/depthchart

Few quick hits:

Looks like the defense has switched from their base 4-2-5 look to a base 3-4 look.
The defense sports 8 SR starters, including all 4 SRs in the secondary.
Nate Wara must have put on a bit more size as he's now listed at 220lbs.
Former backup QB Olla moved to WR.

Along with the change in D, I hope they change up their O a bit. IMO too much Wara is not a good thing- as talented as he is.

Good news! My computer is back from the computer doctor. New hard drive and completely defragged (whatever that means).

Wash U has posted Game Notes for Friday's game vs. U-Dub-Dub...

For the Wisconsin Whitewater fans, an update from St. Louis.  I have just been notified that my son's high school football game has been moved to Thursday night.  Several schools in the St. Louis area are rescheduling games away from Friday night due to anticipated heavy rains from whatever remains of Hurricane Isaac.  Though we desperately need the rain, I am hoping that this won't impact your game with Wash U.  Looking forward to meeting lots of Whitewater fans at the game.

BP - Thanks for the explanation......

My computer still isn't working right - fragged or defragged!!!

As far as St. Louis weather is concerned for Friday night's 8:30 UWW at Wash U kickoff is concerned - we might get lucky.
This from KMOV TV in St. Louis....
Remnants of Isaac may bring heavy rain here late Friday through Sunday. Friday forecast: Low 75/High 88.  Warm with Increasing clouds. Watch for a late day or evening shower and storm as a band of rain from the remnants of Isaac may move through.  Chances for this rain increase after Midnight into Saturday morning.

Funny- in Gary Douglas' interview with coach LL the Wash U coach originally wanted a Thursday night game.  Coach LL was worried about too much time off between games given bye week follows. Sometimes it's just stacked up against you.

Hey Warhawks, Illinois State alum here (and St. John's season ticket holder).  What's up with Ryan Givens, former ISU Redbird?  Will he be in the rotation at RB?

He did a nice job at ISU, getting plugged in as a DB in a pinch.   Too bad it didn't work out for him.

Givens will definitely be in the running backs rotation and see the field this year.  We're all excited to see him in action.  He looked good in the two scrimmages I've seen.  I think he'll get plenty of opportunities.

By my count, the 2012 UW-W roster shows: 48 freshmen, 17 sophomores, 16 juniors, 19 seniors.

It will be interesting to see the breakdown of the travel roster.

Watched the 2012 Stagg Bowl I have saved on the DVR over the weekend to get ready for the game on Friday. Can't wait for the season to start!
