Interesting lineup for the Hawks.

No Cortez (LB)
No Morris (WR)
No Huber (WR)
Kindler punting and kicking

Hopefully it's nothing serious and they're just be extra cautious with the weather and bye week next week.

UWW webpage...they posted a game-day link with a pdf of the lineup.

WIAC Football Survival Guide

One-stop shop to follow all WIAC football teams this weekend.

I even have a few links that D3football.com doesn't have (yet, at least)

In addition to coverage of the UWO v Central game at 1pm WRST will have an hour long WIAC preview show beginning at noon (central time).

LL mentioned on the Coaches Corner podcast the other day that there were a number of injuries during camp this year - he didn't go into specifics or who was involved - but your post appears to do just that.

I heard of a few of them, but nothing about Morris or Cortez.

Like BleedPurple said, when you think about the injuries to key players, it makes you appreciate all the more what UWW has accomplished on this run.

BoBo

I'll ask this again in a slightly different way since it wasn't commented on the first time:

bp, did you retire your blog?   ;)

Kindler doing both place kicking and punting is something I expected.

Meanwhile the Hawks have had several players "nicked" by injury leading up to tonight's game.  It will be interesting to see how many of those players will see action tonight in what is expected to be horrible weather and poor field conditions?

I'm just saying.

I just got off the phone with radio voice of the Warhawks Gary Douglas.  All afternoon has included bands of heavy rain followed by a half hour of sunshine followed by more bands of heavy rain.  The tropical storm conditions will continue throughout the night.  A potential of five incnes of rain is forecast.

Wash U's SID has spent most of his day answering calls from UW-Whitewater fans making sure the game wasn't going to be postponed or cancelled.

By am I glad I didn't make the trek

Bobo,

I will get blog up and running with a recap of tonigt's game. At team hotel, the guys are headed to the field soon. Fun atmosphere here. Not much rain since we arrived a little before 3:30, but we know it's coming!

GO HAWKS!

Or 2.41 inches as forecasted by one, highly esteemed, yet unscientific poster!!  ;)  ;D  :)

KOOL 106.5's audio stream is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Engineers are working on the problem.

On the video side I'm getting a whole lot of buffering. Are more listeners experiencing the same problem.

And a big thanks to the TV announcers who just had a big "shout out" to me as I'm missing tonight's game. It is only the second Warhanwk football game that  I've missed since 1988. The other was the 2006 Mary Hardin-Baylor game down in Texas just a couple weeks after my stroke.  Thanks guys for the  shout-out - it meant alot to me!!!
