I hope Jamarcus Webb pulls Clay Mathews down by the hair- just for the fun of it.

Did Jamarcus Webb even touch Clay Matthews at all last night?  Looked a bit more like a bull fighter than a left tackle  ;D

That game went as well as I expected.....bad.

I had no problems with their defense though.
I agree completely. Cutler's leadership style should also be questioned

I still can't believe the way Cutler was yelling at his linemen all night.  I know they played poorly but my god, nobody would want to protect him with the way he was treating them.

That happens everywhere in the NFL. Hell Rodgers was cussing out Cobb when he threw that pick, AND THEY WERE UP BY THREE TDS IN THE 4th QRT!!!). I don't blame Cutler at all for getting pissed. He was getting planted EVERY SINGLE PLAY, even when GB was only rushing three lineman. If anyone has the right to yell at his team it's Cutler...not Rodgers.

OMG, this kind of stuff gets me crazy!!!!  Really?  Can you imagine, even for a minute, being in Culter's shoes?  He spent the entire 60 minutes, (just like the last 2 seasons,) running for his life with no time to throw, no receivers open and being pummeled by the Pack defense and Mathews for 3.5 sacks!!!   I listen to a lot of sportscasters who are in the Bears locker room and they have been talking all season about how Webb does not have the right football mentality.  He is too soft and, at times, to lazy.  I have heard Lovey publicly challenge him and Webb did seem to respond his next time playing.  Now, no one can block Mathews, to cut Webb some slack here but only his coaching staff and fellow teammates know how to motivate the guy because it seems millions and the game itself are not enough to bring out his best.  Anyway, back to Cutler, all the reports say that he is very much liked by his teammates and I have NEVER heard him throw anyone under the bus after a game like this in all the time he has been a BEAR!  So to bring up his, "leadership skills," because he yelled at Webb and an O-line that has nearly gotten him killed for the last two seasons, well let's just say, there was a lot to criticize about the Bears offense last night but Cutlers demeanor should be at the bottom of the list, IMHO.  I heard a stat last night that he had just been sacked for the 107th time over the last two seasons!   >:(  BTW, did anyone notice the ear full that Rodgers gave his receiver after he threw his interception?   Aaron was not happy and he let his WR know it!  As far as BoBo's comment yesterday about Jay screwing things up, I'd say it definitely got to that point.  The first half he was just a victim but in the second half he became part of the problem,  He will make mistakes tying to make things happen when the frustration sets in but again, in his defense, he had no time to set his feet when making most of his throws. The more things, change, the more they stay the same. Bears made some good moves and acquisitions this last off season but until they address an offensive line that has been neglected and mismanaged, ($40 Mil to Chris Williams??) for years, all the shiny new skill players will just go to waste.   Sorry for the morning rant, boys!  I still have two more chances for my teams to win this weekend!  GO BLACKSHIRTS AND WARHAWKS!!!!

A couple quick observations of the Packer-bear game from a long ways away...

1.  It's always hard for me to gauge these things - how much of this game was a dominant performance by GB, as opposed to a Chi breakdown?

2.  Say what you want about Cutler (and I've said a lot  ;D ), but that guy is a heck of an athlete. To escape some of that pressure was pretty impressive. If he could only finish, he'd be a consistant all-pro.

But, Rodgers is a girl because he has the field awareness and moxy to take advantage of something that the ref's missed? It was a brilliant move and obviously something bear fans aren't used to in their QB.

3.  Loved Mayock's comment about the fake FG TD, "...that was so cool!!"

4.  For 52 minutes, I thought the mouth, Brandon Marshall, was inactive for this game. I love his chemistry with Cutler.

5.  Anybody feel the same way I did when Nessler commented about the Packer loss last week just prior to kickoff, "...there's a lot of people getting ready to jump in the Fox River over this"? Thought it was a rather insensitive and ill-timed remark considering what happened with Philbin's kid earlier this year. Poor choice of words. I wonder if any of the know-it-all ESPN-types bring it up.

6.  Rodgers was yelling at James Jones, not Cobb for not coming back to the ball. As Mayock said, as a QB, you got to know who to yell at and who not to. Yelling at your left tackle from the middle of the field all the way to the bench area, the guy who's trying to protect your blind side, and then giving him a shoulder shimmy, too, isn't a wise thing. Yet, when Marshall drops a sure TD pass, Cutler goes up to him, pats him on top of the head and sits down next to him like he's his daddy.

One more thing before I get outta here...what is it with all these characters and their dreadlocks? I mean, this is getting absolutely ridiculous. The Packer's McMillian is so long it covers 1/2 his jersey number. In a league that has such strick uniform policies, you'd think they'd do something to make these idiots cut their hair. I guess I liked the old days much better. Most of these guys these days look like clowns.

So you agree with Mayock when he says a QB should know who to yell at and who not to but criticize Cutler for yelling at one player and not yelling at another?  Shouldn't personalities be the determining factor in the choice, not positions?    And where did anyone on here say that Rodgers was a girl???  02 and I just pointed out that Cutler wasn't the only one who was letting his teammates have it.

I know I'm a Packer fan, but the way Rodgers yelled at Jones ONE time as opposed to Cutler yelling after every play was way different.  Rodgers was trying to get Jones to finish his route off, which would have prevented the interception and will benefit the Packers in future games.  Cutler was just yelling to yell, its not like he's got some technique advice to give his linemen.  I understand his frustration, but I know from playing that when someone screams at you to do your job better when your already giving your all doesn't help.  It also doesn't help that Cutler essentially gave up before the game ended.  I'm sure that makes his linemen want to try even harder for him.

Don't mistake being just god awful bad (Webb) and making an uncharacteristic mistake (Marshall).
