2115 Summit

Linfield played a hell of a game in the first half but Oshkosh was simply to big on both sides of the ball.
Congrats to all and take it all the way. I'll be pulling for you.

I really love how youse guys think that you play a game that no one else plays. I would guess that if you looked at the results of MIAC/WIAC games, you would find that it's fairly even. That and the fact that there are numerous games to review, you seem to think that we're unaware of the existence of other leagues - in an adjacent state no less.

I would think that the questioner wants something more substantive than the answers given - K Sink being the exception..

They have football in the MIAC now?

;)

In all honestly retagent, nobody truly thinks that. In fact, a lot of people (including myself) thought Linfield would beat Oshkosh last week. But I have to admit, the confidence level on this board about Oshkosh is pretty high after the win at Linfield.

Anyone know the style of Offense Oshkosh operates?

Pain!!!!

:)

Any video to view this pain you two speak of?
Has Wisconsin got any of those new-fangled VHS tapes?  I understand cheese is your #1 priority and the budgets are tight, but a camera purchase might be in order.

Summit I don't know of any video out there but if anyone is going to have it, I bet it will be the Linfield guys.  They have a cool website catdomealumni.com that has some archived games.  Maybe someone will put something up there this week.  I don't know where else to look unless there is video on the Gagliardi finalists- that would have some Nate stuff.

Rod Carey new HC at Northern Illinois.

From 2000-06, Carey served on the coaching staff at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. His offensive units averaged nearly 400 yards per game during his seven seasons and set 14 records, including the all-time conference rushing record. He coached Blue Devils' offensive lineman Ben Knepper, one of the most decorated players ever at UW-Stout, to multiple All-American and all-conference honors. In all, Carey has coached 26 all-conference selections and seven All-Americans during his time at UW-Stout.

Also, if you've ever glanced at my blog during these playoffs, you'll see that I give Oshkosh's opposition a ton of respect.

Thanks! yeah - i checked catdomealumni.com - very impressive website - nothing has been posted yet. I checked their actual website - it seems you need a subscription to view the archived games on there too.... Oh, well.

So - maybe you can help - the style offense from what I gathered so far - Pistol/Shotgun 1 RB sets - 3 wide and a H-back - So - almost reminds me of the Bethel team in 2010 UST faced - Very Good RB - Capable WR - Quick- tough d-fense - with pursuit to the ball - except the Oshkosh QB - He seems to be a much better duel threat than anything UST has most likely seen.

Thoughts? - Anything you can add?
