Cudos to NCC. Although they should be favorites to win all 3- there shouldn't be any blowouts along the lines of 40-50 pts like some other non con games.  NCC should be primed for their conference opener.

Eau Claire, Platteville and Stout have their schedules out, too.  Though Platteville shows only 9 games so far.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Oh, and the Eau Claire at Whitewater game appears to be another one of those dufus Friday night games (10/18).  Booooo!!!

Is that the weekend when they do that Band competition at the Perk? That's why football game gets bumped to Friday?

I see Dr. Plinske is in final 3 for UW Milwaukee AD job.
Good luck to him- but hate to lose him.

Yep, that would be a huge loss.   He was a finalist last time around also, wasn't he?

Dubuque could qualify as well.  They have games @LaCrosse, Platteville, @Stevens Point

Both Dittman and Demman were 1st team all conference at LCL. Demman has a nice size at 6'4" and was All State honarable mention. He had 17 receiving TDs last year.

Jeez Coach McMillan must be doing something right down at OHS. He's got a guy probably headed to Pitt this fall as well.

It is one of many All-Star games. There is no "the NCAA D-III All-Star Game" in that sense.
These all-star games concern me.  They really seem to be little more than attempts to sell tickets to venues that have little else to put in them.  #65 got an invite to one to play this February......after not having put on the pads since November.  And he/we have the priveledge of paying $600 to them for travel, lodging etc.....     And really, what do they do for the athlete, other than a trip and meeting some new people?  Everyone recognizes that a D3 player has limited chance to go pro, will this help them with a future career?   Does anyone regulate these or endorse them?

Interesting...I always wondered how those worked (especially at the DIII level). That's one expensive pickup football game.

That helps explain the abundance of east coast players that attend these games. Players from the west coast have no interest in paying for a cross-country trip to participate in a meaningless game.

These games to me should always come with a "buyer beware" tag.

Don't think I would have turned down the opportunity to play in one of these games...at the very least one last chance to throw on the pads would have been worth it to me.

Hi guys, just checking in.  Been a busy couple of months.  Hope you are all well and having a good offseason.  That is an oxymoron if I ever heard one.   ;)
A big wow to the Eagles 2013 schedule.  That includes NCC and Dubuque.  All have a challenging road.  I hope the Warhawks post their schedule soon.  I may have some interesting conflicts this season.
I see BoBo did not show up while I was gone.   :'(

I'm embarrassed to say that for the first time in 25 years I was forced to miss a UW-Whitewater Football postseason banquet last Sunday. I'm still a bit weak following several months of battling a tough opponent - cancer.

I want to appologize to the 2012 Warhawk football team and UWW fans for my rather sparse coverage on my Warhawkfootball.com
Website. As I reflect - it was a surrealistic time period for me as I forced myself to keep my primary focus on winning my own battle - a battle against cancer.

Some pretty big news came my way yesterday..........

I'm still trying to grasp yesterday's news that seven month's of chemo and radiation has destroyed the tumor that was found in my colon in early June. Thank you to the many who have given me the will and energy to wage this battle. Your thoughts and prayers have been so inspirational for me and my family!!

My plan is to getting back to posting stories on Warhawkfootball.com  later today.  It's time for me to "get back in the game!!"
