Looks like he's the odd man out on this deep WR squad.

As was the case last year, look for UWW to have a regular rotation of 6 WRs

I find the whole receiver corp to be interesting.  There were 4 underclassmen WR's that made the team last year that are not on the team this year.  I know one of them caught a TD pass against UWO in the comeback 3rd quarter. 

I count somewhere around 29 underclassman that made the team last year but aren't on the roster this year.

I find the whole receiver corp to be interesting.  There were 4 underclassmen WR's that made the team last year that are not on the team this year.  I know one of them caught a TD pass against UWO in the comeback 3rd quarter. 

I count somewhere around 29 underclassman that made the team last year but aren't on the roster this year.

I don't know if  you tracked how many of the underclassmen not on the roster were freshman last year, but every year a large number of freshmen disappear the following year. Some choose not to continue to play college football after they see the price they have to pay. Also, a number are given individual workouts, told to work hard, and encouraged to rejoin the team in January. I have not done the work to look it up, but I'm guessing there are sophomores on the roster that were not on the roster last year. There are strength advantages to having 3rd year sophomores, 4th year juniors, and 5th year seniors.

Good point on the additions to roster from last year.  There are 10 players (9 soph and 1 jr) on the team this year that weren't on roster last year.  Interestingly, 2 of the 10 are starting on the offensive line as sophomores.

Any WIAC teams do what Central College does? They have an annual scrimmage with a squad of alumni players. I think my body has at least a few plays left in the tank...

I was just over at the Perkins Stadium parking lot.  I see the UWW "tailgate" port-a- potties have been delivered. With the new security measures going into effect tomorrow I'm just wondering if a security guard will be stationed next to the port-a-potty ordered to "wand" fans when nature calls??
