Wow, what a difference 8 years makesThis is one big lovefest as opposed to the banter prior to the 05 game;D But let me join in, 11 and Voice, both do great jobs on their websites for their teams.  Thank you to both! A huge congrats to the WARHAWKS on a big win Saturday and a fantastic defensive showing.  I could only listen to the broadcast as I helped wallpaper a wall in my older son's basement.  But will be back in the Perk on Saturday for the third installment of the Hawks/Cats clash!  Bringing The Blanchards with us! Can't wait. ;)
I forgot Superman's photo before he left fot Mississippi St. :( he'll autograph it as well ;D Might even give him a nice copy ;D

Hello 413,  looking forward to the big game ,  nice pic you gave Swede..  8-)Was that the real Super Man? ;)  Hot coco sounds good,  see you at the perk. 8-)

Go Cats
Go BIG D
LOL, definitely.  Yes, Swede wanted a souvenir for his special decorating project so I got him the WARHAWK carpet and then as payback, I made him accept the picture as well.   ;D  Will give directions to my parking spot later in the week and I expect all you Cat posters to drop by and say hello.   :)
I'll have to wait till Superman gets back from down south to have him autograph it as well ;D was on the wall but with the remodel I think it'll go on the new shelf :) carpet as nice as the day I got it.
Well, if an autograph is what you want, I am pretty sure that can be arranged.  ;D

On this day.
I'm at peace because
1.  I trust in God
2.  The future looks bright.   And...
3.  I know Coach Borland is working on the Defensive game plan for Linfield.

D3MAFAN:    I would agree with UST from '12 and would have included them in my post but I can't seem to locate them on my bracket.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I was under the false impression that NCC played Bethel this week. Did Bethel forfeit? I think it's unfair to give one team a bye week during the Playoffs. Maybe that will be the break they need WHEN they play UMU. ???

Come on ya rabble rouser- this wasn't a thread looking passed Bethel. It started w a great compliment to the BU defense after all.

Classic retagent!   :o 8-) ;D

Actually I think Bethel has a good shot with their defense, in incredibly cold weather.....to me the biggest issue is whether the second string QB can lead their offense to score any points.

I'm guessing that is a reference to the Packers struggles to score any points with backup QB's.  That has not been pretty in this neck of the woods.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Personally, I believe NCC will take care of Mount. Who they face in the Stagg is still open between three teams (sorry SJF).

I don't know how else to take that other than, NCC will be playing Mount Union. Am I not reading that correctly?

I am with you, retagent.  That statement was, soooo, putting the horse before the cart!   ;) :D ;D

Funny, 02 is such a worry wart when it comes to the Hawks but seems to have plenty of confidence when it comes to other programs.   ;)

I'm still drying out after attending UWW football practice tonight in 43 degree temps with fog and rain. At times the fog was heavy enough that it was difficult to see the other end of the field. UWW O-line coach and former Linfield All-American Daryl Agpalsa called the Oregon type of weather "weird!"  In the words of Alanis Morissette - isn't it ironic.  Linfield will get mid-teens to practice in when they get to Whitewater later this week.

weather.com is calling for a high of 18 degrees.....for the game.
It think they changed the forecast. Low of 7 deg. Friday night and high of 16 deg Sat. so would that make it around 15 Deg at game time? Should be sunny...temps are taken in the shade.
