Do you ever read youe own posts with an objective eye?

You know what Ret? If you're going to call people out for an opinion at least give some sort of clue as to who and what you're talking about. You are in complete violation of the unwritten timeliness rule. With no reference in your post you referred to a comment made 24 hours ago- requiring wasted research time.

I enjoy your drop in, controversial comments but for cripes sakes man, give some background.

I picked NCC to beat Bethel as well, but that doesn't mean I think NCC has the weekend off. I've no doubt Bethel can win and I'm getting a little soft spot for them now with the loss of such a star player.

Personally, I believe NCC will take care of Mount. Who they face in the Stagg is still open between three teams (sorry SJF).

I don't know how else to take that other than, NCC will be playing Mount Union. Am I not reading that correctly?

No, you're reading that correctly. I liked NCC over Bethel even with a healthy Bethel QB.

If I'm wrong, you'll have every right to call me out.

Looking ahead one week will get you sitting at home watching the games.  One week at a time (and I do have Bethel beating NCC even with the second string quarterback).

Since Linfield fans and UW-W fans are playing so nice so far this week, might as well talk about this game on the WIAC board. I will say this game is the sole reason I have not yet done my picks for either of the "pick 'em" contests I am in.  NCC has shown absolutely no vulnerability this year as far as I can tell. Yet, I'm not 100% sure this is a great thing heading into this game.  That also means they haven't faced any adversity. At Bethel, frozen field, a prideful and talented team rallying together after losing their QB, a senior who is replacing him, probably the best defense NCC has faced.... i don't know.  I am actually leaning Bethel at this point.

I don't believe in karma or "vibe" or whatever. And I know that these message board conversations have NOTHING to do with outcomes. But for whatever reason, I feel like there is a lot of feeling that NCC is a "foregone conclusion" in this game. Bethel is a #1 seed. And while their injured QB was obviously a great player, it's not like a Mount Union where he is pretty much the entire straw that stirs the drink. An overlooked #1 seed playing at home seems like a dangerous team to me.

I didn't know games were won or lost on message boards  ;)

Sorry, I assumed that my snarky post regarding the game that WILL be played between Mount and NCC would have alerted all to what I was referring to. (or, to be grammatically correct - to which I was referring). I was off the grid for Thanksgiving. mea culpa.

Past, not passed. Lost, not loss

Darn it 02 now you went and got NCC beat and ruined my bracket (well, technically whomever (Ret, I hope this is the correct usage) spoke of JCU playing in the second round ruined my bracket).   >:(
