I know of your struggle, though.  I have no hope to go up for the Stagg this year, but am considering either driving up to UMHB for a game that I don't have a team for, or staying home to see Mount Union play for the first time all season.

With the weather the way it is, I wonder if Wisconsin-Whitewater will be using the University Of Wisconsin's Facilities?

Cole Klotz made the Final Four for the Gagliardi Trophy!
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Awesome!  Love to see a defensive player capture the, "Heisman of Division 3!"

Speaking of LB's!  Jeff Seissor wrote a cool article about the legacy of great linebackers that have made UW-W,  "D-3's Linebacker U!"   8-)

"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

"Three things you don't want to be in football, slow, small and friendly!"  John Madden

Not disagreeing that UWW has churned out several great linebackers through the years, but you would think that UMHB has gotta be somewhere up there close to the warhawks in the linebacker ranks with Javicz Jones last year, Jarrel Freeman in the mid 2000s (now the starting ILB for the Colts), and even Deshon Kinsey this year looking like he could be one of the greats as well. with over 60 solos and 120 total. And i think hes just a junior.

Yes MHB has produced some solid ones, but it's tough to argue against this:

All American UWW Linebackers
2005: Robb Widuch
2006: AJ Raebel
2007: AJ Raebel
2008: Jace Rindahl
2009: Kyle Supanowski
2010: Lane Olson
2011: Greg Arnold
2013: Cole Klotz*

* Safe assumption considering a Gagliardi nominee finalist usually gets some sort of All-American recognition.

Jerrell Freeman, Pierre Garcon, and Cecil Shorts all play in the NFL. What else do they have in common?

Prediction time:

Tough game with UWW up 24-21 going into the 4th, UWW breaks it open late with a big run to put them up for good 31-21.

Yes, 02. I'm sure you've got it.

All three lost the final games of their collegiate careers to UW-W in games that 02 picked UW-W to lose.  ;)

....personally....I'd be very surprised if UWW doesn't win the whole thing. Right now I think the front runner is NCC.  :o

I'm with you! UW-W is relishing being the hunter instead of the hunted right now.  ;)

I have this down to a science....I pick UWW to lose then they win.
