One more congrats to UWW! My prediction was off just a tad. I picked the Warhawks by 14+ (I don't pay too much attention to Massey, etc...), but the Hawks were more dominate than I thought they would be. : )

congrats to UWW. the much better team tonight. must have been sandbagging with the offense. nice meeting all the UWW fans, thanks for stopping by and saying hi, including a certain coaches spouse, what a nice person. good luck next year, but I dont think you are going to need it. clearly the top team, but UMHB has to be kicking themselves for letting last weeks game get away. have a happy holidays to all and safe travels back to wisconsin.

Congrats to UWW, they really shocked me tonight...proved that playing against tough competition week in and week out only prepares you for moments like tonight. I was really surprise by the offense. Also, as many of my colleagues argue, "DEFENSE do win Championships!!!"

I watch the game again online and yeah, they were lucky to get 14, but they did miss some other opportunities early in the game, but UWW step up when it matter. Again after watching it again, I am still at awe with the score.

Congratulations to UWW on an outstanding performance! I was really proud of the way the O-Line played with such intensity. In fact everybody played so very well in the game!! I do believe that WIWA is indeed a true statement. I certainly enjoyed meeting the o-liners at the 2 dinners, seeing Coach Jimmy (with short hair: what a revelation!), meeting the new o-line coach. So glad you'all enjoyed the brownies!! Say, why don't we do this next year?? I'm also planning another trip to campus for a football weekend!! On another note it was so great to see so many d3football.com friends at Stone Station, especially meeting Mr. Mom for the first time. I am almost thawed out & I guess Kitchen Sink is back on the bus wending his way back up north. Hope that snow storm I saw on the Weather channel doesn't hinder the return journey!! It could never be as bad as the Snowmagedon of 2009. Safe travels from the land of the ODAC, co-sponsor of the D3 National Football Championshop.

Congratulations to the 2013 UW-Whitewater Warhawks! National Champions! The coaches, the players, and everyone in the program did an awesome job. To beat Linfield, UMHB (on the road), and Mount Union in consecutive weeks is an incredible accomplishment.

It has been a great couple of days in the Salem area. It was nice to meet Olinemom, Wesleydad, and a few of the Mount guys. Thank you to the Stone Station people for all of their work. The spread was incredible.

The one question I didn't ask all week was where this year's defense stacked up with defenses of years past. UWW has always slowed Mount Union down more than most teams and you did it again. Then, as lights out as your QB was tonight, things just kept snowballing for UMU on defense. But make no mistake, your offense was a lot of what made it snowball. Great receivers, the QB fitting the ball into some tight windows, and your line opening holes even I could have been a RB with. And nothing even needs to be said about your defense.

Congrats from this Purple Raider on a great year, and an amazing championship performance.
