The last I knew we were still trying to fill at least one nonconference date in September.  That was a while ago so maybe it's been filled.  However it looks like we're having the same problem that we've had for a while and not very programs want to play us.

That's what I figured was going on. If I'm remembering correctly UWW announced their schedule last year in April, still taking too long for us fans but I still hope it can be a full D3 slate. Anybody in the know can give me hints in private, my lips are sealed until release!  ;D

UW-W linebackers Cole Klotz, Kyle Wismer, Josh Williams and wide receiver Tyler Huber attended the University of Wisconsin's pro day in Madison.  Here is an article:

Wishing them all the best. This past year's national championship team was definitely led by a good (great) group of linebackers. The way the defense played in the championship game was definitely one of best performances I had a chance to see in  D3 football games this past year.

That's fantastic. Never give up on your dreams.
I hope each of them show their best and each get the opportunity to do so.

U Dub Dub becomes the first NCAA school at any level to win the National Championship in both men's basketball and football in the same school year TWICE.

And they've done it in two of the last three years!  Congratulations to all involved!

UW-Whitewater (D-III): Sources tell us that 2012 FootballScoop D-III Coordinator of the Year John O'Grady will join Lance Leipold's staff and will coach the tight ends. O'Grady previously served as offensive coordinator at Wisconsin-Oshkosh (D-III).

Congrats to him.
On the negative side that means UWW lost its TE coach. We knew this staff would be targeted- has UWW lost any others?

And I thought the Purple Powers was just a D3 football thing...3 teams were also purple in D3 basketball's final 4 as well.

True dat.  As a fan of the one green and white school there, I had trouble figuring out which 'enemy' was which! ;D

Congrats to Whitewater.  I really thought we had climbed back and would beat you guys, when our shooters suddenly went completely dead.  Your defense was a major factor in us falling from a 1-point lead at the half to a 15-point deficit.  But in the waning minutes we had wide-open threes - they just would not fall. :(

From what I have heard, no.  Hopefully it stays that way.   Keeping Borland, Bullis, Kotelnicki and Agpalsa has to be a on-going priority.   Harmon going back to NIU was completely understandable.   Spring ball is right around the corner!   Who is going to emerge on the Defensive side of the ball?   From what I have heard coaches are excited about both last years and this years recruits and that while there are openings, there will be a lot of strong competition.

Do no UWW open dates on the main site mean the schedule has been filled? Or am I just too hopeful and we still have to wait until about June like last year?  :P
