No, but I've been thinking more and more it would make way more sense for UW-Parkside to come back from D-II to D-III and join the WIAC. The money savings between travel and athletics scholarships alone would be worth it. I'm not sure what they gain from being in D-II. I realize I'm off topic on the football board.

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

Not much point in moving up to D2.  I'd surprised if the AD or President wasn't considering a move to D1.

In a more perfect world that was created to benefit the game and the student athletes, Whitewater would be free to have any of their teams play in any division they wished.

Begrudgingly adding congratulations to the Class of 2014 for their accumulated conquests.

I'm sure there are many keys to UWW's success this academic year.
One similarity I saw in the championship games for each of the men's teams was exceptional defense.

I said the same thing when Superior left the WIAC. Parkside could take their travel savings and scholarship $$ and start a football program.

LOL....there's no way they would even make the playoffs in D2. Give it a break! They have to sand bag at the D3 level to be anything.

Wow. Linfield was the last school I thought would change their colors to envy green.  Oh well, I guess we will break their will one school at a time.  ;)

Hey - it's time to move football up to the top of the page on d3boards.   ;D
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Surprised with your fancy private school education that you don't know the original saying is "the proof of the pudding is in the eating." :)

The good news, Bluenote, is that football season must be on the horizon, we are mixing it up again!  ;)

Looks like UWW winning the championship in baseball sparked the inevitable "why isn't UWW in DII?" debate in the WIAC baseball thread. I'm staying clear of that one....it's hard enough to fight that battle in this football thread, let alone multiple threads
