Hello New Hawk.
This board can never get enough publicity for their team (now teams). Have at it.

Would you like me to send you a picture of Blanchard getting bent three ways from Sunday in a 2009 playoff win?

I too would like to see more university generated publicity. This is a great success story and certainly an excellent recruitment tool for athletes and non athletes alike.

DOC- I think you're referring to Jeff Donovan in that 2009 game. He did take a huge hit - and to his credit didn't miss a beat.

Kickoff 2014 is released!

We went live at 11 a.m. CT today. As always, we appreciate those of you from this board who have subscribed. This helps us pay the bills, keeps the site free of pop-up ads and the like and makes sure we can provide quality Division III coverage across the board.

If you haven't subscribed, we would love it if you would. Thanks for supporting everything we do here at D3football.com!

New Hawk, pay no attention to me. I stand corrected and removed my post.
Welcome, still. :-*

As is the case with many armchair QB's, I didn't actually want to do the work myself.  I was just wondering why the school didn't push the programs more since they are so successful.  It seems to help with recruiting for schools that have a bigger social media presence.  Of course winning numerous national championships kind of helps with that as well. As guess I like the hype.

They have the second biggest Twitter following in D-III and the second biggest Facebook audience in D-III. I see a ton of social media stuff they produce, so you may not be looking in the right places. They've got two full time SIDs and at least a dozen student workers.

It's very new. I think it just appeared this summer. Chris is the SID at Willamette (OR).

Sorry. Chris is an assistant track coach who helps out in the SID office. Robert is still there.

Stated Goals:
I find the following interesting:
In articles from the 2014 Kickoff (again an amazing product for only $11)-
Both Kevin Burke and Coach Kehres express their team goal as a National Championship.
Both Jake Kumerow and Coach Leipold express their team goal as a Conference Title.

UMHB QB Anderson also expresses the goal as National Championship.

I would say that too if UWW was in the OAC.  :-X  ;)  ;D

The primary goal of the WARHAWKS is, has always been and will always be to secure the conference championship and the automatic bid that goes with it.  It's something that Lance has preached since the day he arrived.  As tough as our league can be winning it is a significant accomplishment.

Will we see a WARHAWK roster tomorrow?  Game day will only be a week away.  I know they wait until they have made the final camp cuts but that should be today or tomorrow.  Ready to get to whitewater and see some football. On a side note referencing Kickoff...I started following D3 last year and without having a publication that gave as much info as they do I would have been lost.

That really was good, 02. Glad to see you in midseason form. Don't peak too early!  ;)
