Congratulations to the D3 Football staff on this year's Kickoff feature. It is excellent. When you think about it, we fans of D3 football are very fortunate to have access to such a great resource. If you haven't plopped down 11 bucks for this preview, you aren't managing your money correctly and are missing out on a great read. I sincerely suggest getting it.

I'll be setting up the pick em in the pick em topic this week some time before the game on Friday night.

Three days till the season starts, and UWW still hasn't posted its roster.

A good thing it isn't mandatory like the N.F.L. 53 man roster.

I was sure they would post it today.  I am not sure why they are waiting at this point.  I am really interested to see what freshmen they brought in and who may have left the team.  I haven't been following the program for too long but it seemed like last year the roster came out much earlier.  I am guessing from the previous comments that this is not the norm.   I guess i will find out who is on the team Friday night

What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Apparently the writer hasn't been in many D3 facilities. I'm willing to bet that 90% of D3 football programs can only dream of offering their student-athletes what Whitewater offers to theirs.

"The team's facilities are good but could be better. The players share the weight room with the other athletic programs and the general student population. Even Whitewater residents can buy passes and work out next to All-Americans.

Leipold's office in the cramped but functional Berezowitz Student-Athlete Complex is nothing special (though the trophy case in the lobby stops visitors in their tracks). The locker rooms are 40 years old and are not air-conditioned."

That's a writer that doesn't understand what D-III is all about. All-Americans are SUPPOSED to be alongside Mr. Ordinary Student. That's the whole idea.

There are many low level D-I programs that would trade facilities with UWW right now, even if it meant sharing a little workout space with the great unwashed student body.  ::)

EDIT: To the writer's defense, Leipold did lead him down the path that their facilities are somehow lacking, which I find laughable.

Now we go...roster is out.  8-)

Edit: Or not.....It was up for a few minutes, but now it's been taken down.

Interesting how the game preview discusses 4 out of 5 OL returning.  All 5 had eligibility to return .....

Oh no. Sorry for Lucas if he is injured. I hope if it is an injury and if it's season ending he can return next year.

I assume all WW fans know that 3 of your assistant coaches have UWRF backgrounds:  Kotelnicki, Bullis, O'Grady. I wish that made me feel good. ;D
