What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

My prayers are with you voice. Keep fighting.

Hang in there Voice!

Quick story...saw a guy at ESPN Gameday in Fargo last weekend wearing a 2007 UWW National Champs jacket. Talked to him for a good 10 minutes. Kind of random.

My apologies to Warhawk football fans.  Being forced physically to close down MY Warhawkfootball.com Website six weeks ago due to poor health was extremely upsetting for me.  In the lurch back in July I forgot to due the annual paper work of renewing my Warhawkfootball.com domain.  I never did sell the Website. A huge thank you to Jay Perkins (Bleed Purple) for reviving the site.  Jay's passion for U-Dub-Dub football is undeniable and his site will continue to be a daily must-read for UWW and D3 Football fans around the nation. During my 15 year run as publisher of Warhawkfotball.com resulted in nearly two million hits to the site.  I want to sincerely thank all those who visited the site... and to all the coaches, players and UWW administration, thanks for allowing me to write Warhawk football stories on  a daily basis!!

Count me in as the NEW Warhawkfootball.com Website's No. 1 fan and I look forward to making Jay's Website my No. 1 "click" each day!!!

Thanks Jay and go Warhawks!!

I'm so sorry to hear the cancer has returned.  I join the others in praying for you and encouraging you to keep the fight and the faith! As you said, "One day at a time". That's actually a good word for all of us. It's all we've got, anyway.

Thank you for your kind words and support for the NEW Warhawkfootball.com.  It is an honor and a privilege to follow in your footsteps. Like all of Warhawk football, it is "Powered by Tradition".  The tradition you have established with the site has been a blessing to all who follow Warhawk football.  It has never been my aim to replace your site, but rather to build upon that foundation and tradition you have established.  You are a good man, Tom. You have touched a lot of lives.  Now take good care of yourself and fight the fight. We all want you around for a long, long time.

Voice - Thank you for not only being a strong advocate for UWW football, but also a "voice" for DIII football, in general.  As a North Central alum and fan, I have found myself sneaking a peek at warhawkfootball.com for your previews, reviews, and assessments over the years... Heck, I probably still have a printout of your notes about a certain game on 12/4/10 in Naperville.  Stay strong and know that there are folks south of the border pulling for you.   Stagg or Bust

Voice,

From a UMHB and Austin College fan, we have not met personally but I have respected your comments on this board and your dedication to your Warhawks and D3 Sports in general from afar.  Prayers are on the way and will continue to arrive all the way from Texas!

May God and his grace always continue to hold you in the palm of His hand!
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

A sincere thank you everybody for your comments expressed over the past couple of days on the news that I have been diagnosed that cancer has returned for me.  The Hawks practiced yesterday out on the north practice field. At the urging of my team of doctors and specialists I went to last night's practice.  They say that taking in practice a couple of times a week might be positive for me.  hopefully the coaches and players don't mind!!

I sat there last night (much like I've done hundreds of times over the past 26+ years.) watching practice.  It was really weird going home and not spending the evening writing a story, or posting a picture on Warhawkfootball.com

For me - being able to watch the Warhawk football team focus on team work, have the positive attitude at the task at hand has been a huge inspiration for me following my 2006 stroke and 2012 colon cancer episode. Hopefully it can again provide the same inspiration this time around!

Hopefully the Warhawks will have a great trip out to New Jersey this week and play well on Saturday vs. the College of New Jersey.  I wish I could be there!!!

GO HAWKS!!!

You're the best, voice. Your website got me through each off season, as well as each week between games.

Best of luck

(I don't know about this bleed character..he has some big shoes to fill taking over your site)  ;)
