In the final regular season game UWO visits UWP.  Strange as it may be, UWO will likely have more to play for- assuming both win this upcoming weekend.
Can a 6-4, 1 conference/D3 loss UWO pass muster with the selection committee?

Theoretically those 3 out of conference losses shouldn't count given that they were not D3 games.  But who knows they're kind of hard to ignore.

They're a strange test case for the criteria. It's crazy to hold the SDSU loss against them.

In my mind, the losses to a pair of 2 loss NAIA teams are more difficult to overlook.
Agreed, but the reality is that NAIA are scholarship schools and some are very good teams.   I think the committee would have the ability to include Oshkosh because they only have 1 DIII loss, but it will raise eyebrows of those who are less informed or just plain disagree.

The committee response is going to be "Based on the Body of Work," we felt as though UW-Oshkosh played themselves...tbd.

Don't let Warthog, DoolittleDog or the IIAC boys catch you giving props to the NAIA or calling them 'scholarship' schools. They can get a bit prickly about that  ;) :)

I don't know about the rest of you but this looks like a forced turnover to me.  ;)

I think it looks like a great example of the superiority of video over a still shot for providing context and clarity  ;) :)

Looking at the WIAC stats, and one glaring stat that jumps out at me for the UWW/UWSP is sacks. UWSP has been sacked 24 times in 8 games...worst in the conference. While UWW leads the WIAC in defensive sacks with 26.

This could be a great game for the D-line on Saturday.

Hazz- I think BW's post is intended to refute the idea posted by a doubter that UWP "gave the game away" - as though UWW's defense didn't earn the turnover.
At least the photo shows there was clearly contact involved.

I know, I just wanted to be that annoying contrarian that stirs things up, just for fun...aka AO ;) 8-)

That poster is probably thinking to herself/himself "...that image has been photoshopped..."

Nope. The most UW-W can do is hope Point hands us some unforced sacks.  ;)

Let's take care of Eau Claire and Platteville first...then we get to have some pretty fun/interesting discussion around this!
