Funny exchange between the fake Bo Pelini twitter account and the UW Madison Police twitter account reported on ESPN.com

Sorry about the D1 action...but this doesn't happen that often.

That certainly didn't happen today...UWW was lucky to have won and the Falcons and their coaches have my respect. And that line is coming down immediately. Thank you sir for reminding me.

You're a gentleman, BoBo. I'll be cheering for WW in playoffs.

I jus got back from the game. RF played really well today. I can't take anything away from their game,  they came to play.  We really got some big penalties in key situations which kept a couple of their drives alive but their defense stood us up in the red zone and we had some issues moving the ball down there. I am repeating what has already been said but the coaches have some things to work on this week but they usually meet the challenge and I am ready for the play offs. There was a defensive holding penalty called against a defense lineman today, you don't see that very often. I am still a couple of bourbons away from warm but I am getting there.

the D3football guys left UWO out... they compare favorable, so they say, head-to-head, but just can't see a 6-4 team getting in

Just made our reservations in River Falls. Now it's time to find out who the fair weather fans are  ;D

Apparently, there are quite a few fair weather fans out there since the attendance figures cited in the box score showed a grand total of only 258 at the game.

258 people personally saw UW-W's most exciting game of the year so far.  Wish I had been one of them.  Personally, it was a combination of underestimating the Falcons and having, at some point, to attend to other details of my life besides UW-W football.  Admittedly, if I knew the type of game it would be, I would have been there in a heartbeat. Congratulations to UW-RF. Brady Grayvold Tweeted that it was a great win over a team that "played their butts off". In this world of ridiculous tweets by so many, I think that was a cool tribute to the Falcons. Congrats to the Hawks, too. Can't ignore that fact that they rose up and took the win at the end.

I personally hate it when a team loses and someone says, "it was good for them."  No loss is good for anyone.  But a come from behind win against an underrated opponent may be "good for them."  I'm with you Bleed.  The Falcons played hard and with determination.  It would have been easy to fold when we put 14 on the board the first two times we had the ball.  But the Falcons held tight and came with a minute and half of pulling off the upset of the season.  Credit to them.  But championship teams find a way and fortunately for us we had just enough time to do it.

Maybe I shouldn't have been but I was surprised to see St Thomas in the field.

So were we , but are hoping for them to upset Wart, so that there can be an SJU/UST showdown in Collegeville.

Whatever happens there, hope to see you all 12/6.
