Love how a lot of people are STILL underestimating UWW. :)

Who's doing this?

I can't see UWW defense giving up 30+ points like a lot of people are thinking.

Master,
You weren't alone in this thought, I felt the same way.
Wartburg was an excellent team in all phases and pushed UWW like no team has done in a long time.

It's just the 6th time since UWW began their run in 05 that they've allowed a team to score 30+ points against them. UWW's record in those games you might ask? 3-3! Beat Linfield in 05, Trine in 10 and Wartburg this year. Lost to UMU in 05, UMU in 06 and UMU in 08. Nobody should be surprised why UWW fans didn't think it was likely, but as I've said before is Wartburg was an excellent team and could have easily won.

Was it just me or did the Perk actually get....LOUD today?  In a playoff game. That is pretty unique.

I don't think the WARHAWKS were as prepared as they should have been today.  I think the week really took something out of the players and it showed in the first 3 quarters.  It was an amazing effort to come back and win like they did.  This one was all the players effort and my hat is off to them. Hopefully the coaches will stay here this week and focus on Linfield.
I think we can blame the prior week to a small extent, but the Wartburg execution was outstanding.  Give credit to the D for forcing the field goals and then credit Moore for breaking the long run.  That was the turning point for momentum and then the fumble.

Having seen Wartburg a couple times this year, not surprised they scored some points. They're that good.

I sure hope the UWW players heard us as our section was giving it our all.  Throat lozenges in order today.

Happy for Leipold that Whitewater came back, because seemed like some of their fans were ready to fire him if they lost this one.

That statement is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read on here. And there's been a lot of idiotic things printed on here over the years. I should know...I've printed a lot of them.

Yea, it was loud. Especially for the amount of poeple in attendance...we made the most of it. I don't recall ever screaming that much ever in a game. Great atmosphere today.

This upcoming week can't go by fast enough.

During that dramatic 4th quarter comeback I remember sitting in my wheelchair in the south end zone thinking that this reminds me of UWW's iconic 45-42 win in 2005 over Linfield.  I remember thinking how the Hawks played with "the heart of a champion" that afternoon out in Oregon.  I possessed the same feeling yesterday. For someone battling cancer, that "never give up attitude" taught me a great lesson.  I know it was just a football game but the lesson delivered by the Warhawks will always be with me. Thank you!!!

Badgers should be stripped of their bowl eligibility after tonight's performance.

Well....if you are going to be the best....

Looking forward to another trip to the Perk. The outcomes haven't been in my 'Cats favor but the experience has always been a great one in terms of people and how hard the games have been played. See you next Saturday and congrats on the comeback.

Hmmmm, and it was the first game where I was back in the Perk this season.  Coincidence???
     I think not!!   ;) :D ;D

Actually, I was not happy that everyone seemed to be sitting on their hands for three quarters but that sure changed, thanks to the comeback kids in the 4th.  8-)

Wartburg Knights were stellar competition yesterday. They were, every bit, our match.  Congrats to them, their staff and fans on a terrific season.
