What went down during the Warhawks' comeback victory Saturday against Wartburg? Who was the unsung hero of the key Matt Behrendt 3rd and 8 scramble on the game winning drive?

Grayvold named to AFCA All American team:

http://www.afca.com/article/article.php?id=2576

I know there is not always a direct correlation, but I count 10 of 22 position players being from the east region.  The weakest region makes up 45% of the All Americans?  The West, strongest from top to bottom, has 4 out of 22?  Does not compute.

And, I think if the voting had been done after last Saturday's games there would have only been 3 from the west.   :) ;) :D ;D :o 8-)

IMHO bad career move, unless he wants to spend the remainder of his working life in Corvallis.  Which is not a bad thing in and of itself.  They're never going to be a consistent top half of the PAC-12 type of team.  Always be in the shadow of U of Oregon.  Unless Phil Knight has descendants who attended Oregon SU.

Maybe he just doesn't want to play The OSU ever again after the recent beat down.

As a Gopher fan (yes, I know, only a masochist would admit that) I like the move.  I hope he takes all his assistants with him.

Word on the street is that he's a west coast guy at heart, but more importantly, he was increasingly frustrated with Wisconsin's admission requirements.  He hasn't been able to get a number of highly rated, committed prospects through the admission office. There are many on the WI message boards who have never really warmed-up to him, from the way he handled Melvin Gordon in the LSU game, to the QB situation all this season and think the job is over his head - coming from Utah State. Oregon State is a convienient opening to make his get-away.

I might be mistaken but I think the Wartburg QB got hurt then the comeback started.

The comeback was almost completed by then...listen to Keith on the Podcast - his opinion is that the comeback started much earlier than that, I forgot exactly and I can't check now but sometime around the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th with Dennis Moore's TD run. The QB getting hurt was a contributing factor, but not the only factor.

UWW was already within 3 when Logan went down. Then UWW scored on the very next possession to take the lead for good.

Augie wins it 96-94 in double OT.  Just what you'd hope for when #1 plays on the road at #4.
