Who knows how to post a Poll asking the audience for who is winning the argument between wally_wabash vs emma17?

My vote goes to wally_wabash  ;D

To add to my earlier post--and thanks ExTartanPlayer for your extension of my comments--the full-time coaches at Wabash also have other responsibilities.  Several of them are assistants in track and field.  All have some assignment in either (or both) facilities management or intramural athletics, or in some other aspect of running the athletics department.  These in addition to recruiting.
The full-time coaches all go on the road somewhere either in Indiana or in Indiana and other recruiting territories.  Wabash has a, robust on-campus recruiting effort for potential football players and parents/guardians, on home games days and during the fall and spring semesters.  Like many other places, the College believes that getting prospective students to campus is key to having them understand what academics and athletics are all about, and the more visits the better, whether as part of athletics recruiting or part of general searching for qualified candidates for the next entering class.
From a Dad of a player that Wabash heavily recruited for Baseball, I can second this. I believe they do this for all sports and not just Football.  Wabash had my son on campus often and early. None of the visits were official because they were all on our dime. Wabash was the first college program to reach out to my son, it was early in the process for a D3, the summer before his senior year. They had him to campus before his senior year started and had him come back for many activities over the summer and through the fall and spring. He was only at two other schools nearly as much, OWU and Marietta, but they started the recruiting process much later.

Can't help you on setting up the Poll. However Wally is winning is a landslide for sure.

The emma17 vs (insert Wabash fan here) on these boards are legendary.

BLD, it's great that your son was able to visit several quality schools and baseball programs on his way to making a decision on which college to attend.  From other posts, I gather he is happy and doing well at OWU.
Yes, Wabash follows the same general recruiting pattern for all sports:  get prospective student-athletes to campus early and often, if possible, to help them in their decision-making process.  This is particularly helpful in an era when there is understandable apprehension about attending an all-male school.

emma would "crush" wally in a cage match.  What are you saying, Bobo?  And why must you with every post, even those purportedly supporting your friends, be so offensive?

To be sure I understand your point, are you suggesting that because UWW just launched the career of LL into D1, this is proof that it will happen again?  If this is accurately stated, than it's easy for me to state my case.
My point is the antithesis of yours.  I'm saying because LL was launched into D1 based upon his success at UWW, I can envision many good, D1 aspiring coaches deciding not to apply there.  The success has been had, the story has been told, the program has been built at UWW.  That's not to say the next head coach won't have great success of his own, but it will never be in the form of what just happened.

emma is arguing that lightning never strikes the same tree twice.  A powerful argument.

Other powerful arguments from cliche playbook which may have been utterly persuasive and thus kept any talent from making the shortlist include:

- All that glitters is not gold
- Already got one paw in the chicken coop
- My way or the highway

I could only be bothered looking at the A's and then clicking over to the M's.  I figured emma had already grabbed the best one out of the L's.
