This is what happens when you park in Urban Meyer's parking spot.

The Deflategate Saga continues. I've said before, I don't think there are any winners in this. But I think Goodell might end up being the biggest loser, when it's all said and done.

Oh, my, Bobo. I guess you'll need to get mean and personal again. You have nothing left to rely on.

Agreed.
It will be interesting to hear the spin on this one.

More empty rhetoric. Lather, rinse & repeat.  ::)

It seems silly season is back in full swing - your whole point is flaccid.

Congrats to Mike "Sully" Sullivan, longtime voice of UWEC Blugold and EC area athletics. He's being inducted into the Wisconsin Broadcasters Hall of Fame this week...
A 44-year career and 3,600 local games called, and counting...
That's a gold wrap for you!

I hear Strength and Conditioning Coach/football assistant Kevin Schultz left LaCrosse for bigger and better things. He is well respected. Does anyone know who will replace him?

Gotta say it- How bout them Blackhawks!

In case there are Super Fans ready to pounce:
Yes, I'm a bandwagon fan- and I feel zero shame in saying so.
I admit to paying little attention to hockey during the regular season.
I admit to not being one of the 2,000 fans gutting it out in the lean years.
I admit to not knowing the rules well.
I admit to not understanding or recognizing strategy.

But I enjoyed the heck out of the playoffs, went to 3 regular season games in last 2 years and spent money at local establishments as we gathered to watch the playoffs.
I reckon I'll buy some BH garb as well.

Go blackhawks indeed! I made it down to the parade yesterday and had a great time.

It's a great time being a Hawks fan all around (both War and Black)  ;)  Both programs are sitting on top of their sport over the past 6 years or so.

My favorite bird of prey (other than the Klingon ship w cloaking ability).

Not totally sure - the job was posted back in April I think, so we should have had someone hired by now.  Maybe they are having a tough time filling the position?  I know it can be hard to find someone with the right qualifications at a D3 salary.

Finally some good news. North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un claims to have developed a wonder drug that can prevent and cure various deadly diseases such as Aids, Ebola, SARS, and the currently scourge, MERS.  The state-run Korean Central News Agency reports the drug, labeled Kumdang-2 is made from ginseng and other various ingredients - without indicating what they are.

Interestingly, the drug does not prevent or cure obesity, sorry Marshal Kim.

However, before you start rejoicing over the news, it should be pointed out that the North Koreans also claim a variety of mythological-like events in the lives of their leaders, such as the ones described in the linked article and it all runs in the family. Official records reportedly show that Kim Jong-Il, Kim Jong-un's father, learned to walk at the age of three weeks, and was talking at eight weeks. While at Kim Il Sung University, he apparently wrote 1,500 books over a period of three years, along with six full operas. According to his official biography, all of his operas are "better than any in the history of music." Then there's his sporting prowess. In 1994, Pyongyang media reported that the first time Kim picked up a golf club, he shot a 38-under par round on North Korea's only golf course, including 11 holes-in-one. Reports say each of his 17 bodyguards verified the record-breaking feat. He then decided to retire from the sport forever.  If that's not all, his official biography on the North Korean state web site (no longer in existence) claimed that Kim did not defecate. Special guys...

Blanchard update:

It seems like his head is in the right place. He has a mountain to climb in GB to land a spot, but maybe it will work out elsewhere if the numbers game works against him.

You are right about that. It is an interesting time in the field because there is a huge range of proficiency across all levels of the NCAA in Strength and Conditioning right now. From terrible to great.  Fortunately for the Eagles, The Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science-Human Performance at UW-L is one of the best programs in the country. I'm guessing they will be fine. .
