My twisted head, I guess.  It was the vision I had when BW listed his career progressing from board stats man to game clock operator.

If you think that inspired humor you should hear the story of my ascension from stock boy to aisle manager and finally cashier at Cram's Super Fair.  Unfortunately after reaching the pinnacle I had to quit because it interfered with football practice.

Cram's Super Fair

The art of movies like Christmas Vacation is they make humor funnier than real life but still feeling like real-life.  I'd like to see them beat a supermarket named Cram's Super Fair.

For those of us in the Chicagoland area, the Packers game is going to be televised on the NFL network.   Personally, I have two reasons to watch; first, Scott Tolzein went to Fremd and the second, obviously Matt Blanchard.    I will actually be rooting for the pack, because I love to see New England get beat.

Add one more QB to the mix- Jimmy Garoppolo of the Patriots. Jimmy was the QB at Rolling Meadows High School- for those unfortunate non FIB's, Rolling Meadows HS is one town away from Fremd HS (Palatine). And Lake Zurich, home of Matt Blanchard, is 2 towns from Palatine.
3 local kids all playing QB tonight chasing their dreams.
I truly wish the best for all 3 and hope they each make the final 53 for an NFL team this year.

Don't kid yourself, I'm sure those in Wisconsin feel fortunate to be non-FIB's. Given a choice, who would choose to be a FIB? Blanchard made the choice and now lives on the west side of Madison with his new bride and I sure Tolzien lives around Green Bay somewhere.

In the battle of the backup QB's from the new cradle of quarterbacks last night, I think the Packer duo made the best showing. As a Packer fan, I really like our depth at the position, just wish the first team offensive could have put more than 3 point on the board after dominating the way they did. I had flashbacks to last game.
