"Doubt us now, regret it later."

Are you kidding with this?  Who is doubting UWW?  Where are all of these doubters?  This invented nobody-believed-in-us crap is insufferable.  Absolutely insufferable from a team that has won 6 out of 8.

Now I can take it off. Mission Accomplished.  ;D

Good effort.  Good luck to the Warhawks.  What a plucky, feel-good, underdog story they are.

Thanks Wally, and to your Lil Giants too.

Is that a pay for view paper?  All I can see is blue bars across the page.

If you are on mobile then you likely are seeing an ad that you need to x out of.  Otherwise it should work fine on a desktop/laptop, although sometimes they want you to answer a survey question or two to read the article.

It was on a lap top but I remember that there was a pop up ad on the page and I disregarded it.  This time there was no pop up and the article displayed without any problem.  So ignoring the pop up was probably the problem.  Thanks for sharing it.

Bleed, isn't this the second season that you've used that signature?   It seems like it's been on there longer than just this year.

Good question, I don't remember last year.  But who could forget his WIWA campaign?

Thank you for the reminder of WIWA. It was a lonely bandwagon to drive for awhile. But it was my pleasure to welcome you on it one by one.  By the time 52-14 lit up the Salem scoreboard, I think you were even on board 02!

No, "Doubt us now, regret it later" was new this year.  But my mission isn't to make Wally's season insufferable. Besides, even the greatest skeptic's doubt doesn't have a shelf life longer than 8 more days, so I thought I would take it off early.   ;)

I had not previously viewed your photos.  Very nice work.

Not sure if this has already been reported here, but the Cleveland Browns released QB Matt Blanchard from their practice squad yesterday.
I wish the Bears would resign him. He is better than anything they currently have!

Thank you Retired Old Rat. I appreciate it. Credit for the pictures goes to Chris Gehant, who gives up his time taking over 1,000 pictures per game. He generously allows me access to the photos. Because of his high quality equipment, I am able to create close-up shots (my obvious preference), making a complete photo out of just a portion of the wide angle photo.

Thanks, again!

Saw a post a while ago about other posters besides ScreamingEagle doing what he's doing in posting articles about Lax. Unfortunately, we have no daily paper, and the weekly has nobody covering the Falcons exclusively. Post game reports are in the weekly, but done by the sports info. people at UWRF. There is no preview of the Lax game available. UWRF did not replace the retired sports info guy but gave his duties to others on the athletic staff, so their time to devote to previews has evidently dissipated.

Past struggles with UWL have resulted in 3 o.t. games in the last 4 years, the tenures of the two involved coaches. Home field advantage gives the Falcons at least a 50-50 shot to win today.

Albert Itula, 6'0", 236# is WIAC D player of the week with 3 qb sacks, 6 total tackles, 3 of which were for a loss, plus a pass breakup. From watching the online tv stream, it was apparent that the Texas team has an inexperienced O line, and that our D line was dominant. Falcon morale was considerably boosted by the win.

MESSAGE TO RECRUITS:  IN DOUBT? ENROLL AT STOUT. DON'T CARE? GO TO EAU CLAIRE. AT A LOSS? TRY LACROSSE. FEELIN' OUTTA JOINT? YOUR PLACE IS POINT. DON'T LIKE THE REST? DO WHAT'S BEST!

GOT BALLS? PLAY FOR THE FALLS!

21-20 RF win in o.t. on a blocked extra point try.

Oshkosh had over 800 net yards of offense yesterday.  I don't care who you're playing that's OMG yardage.  I knew they'd be able to score against the Blue Devils but I never expected they'd be able to put up that kind of yardage.

Just the stats

So that makes two schools (Platteville the other) without SIDs anymore. Kind of sad in this conference, but given the budget cuts, it's hard to justify keeping an SID and cutting a math professor. That makes these boards all the more important in keeping everyone up to date. Thanks to all the regular posters and hopefully more fans join in.

Thanks for your reports FF.  In looking at the statistics, it is obvious that the team who had the more balanced and productive offense throughout most of the day ended up winning the game. Unconventional ending, but the stats look like UW-RF outplayed UW-L most of the day.

UWO vs UWW has the look of a late round playoff game.
I don't imagine UWO will be very impressed w the game tape of the UWW offense vs UWP.

It should be a great game for sure.

Hard to argue with either of those statements.
