This game has a chance to be in the snow. I know it's supposed to be ending around the time the game is starting, would love to see a snow game.

Week two will bring us the holy war  between St Johns and St Thomas will week three bring us the WIAC rematch between Oshkosh & WW? Inquiry  minds want to know?

In  non football  news UW-EC won the D3 Cross County team title and Platteville's Ian LaMere won the individual title congrats to both.

Week two will bring us the holy war  between St Johns and St Thomas will week three bring us the WIAC rematch between Oshkosh & WW? Inquiry  minds want to know?   

UW-O has the easier match-up, but we are getting closer to the point that the talent gap is quickly narrowing in some match-ups. I am guessing Northern is significantly better than St. Scholastica. I don't see UW-O losing to them, but if they do it won't be the biggest upset in the history of the D-III Playoffs..

Actually, I wonder what IS the greatest upset in playoff history?

UW-W has a much tougher match-up traveling down to play the #5 Thunder of Wheaton College.  They are a good team.

Both teams have to earn the right to that WIAC rematch.

Actually, the final regular-season poll flip-flopped UWW and Wheaton - now it is #5 UWW @ #6 Wheaton.  I'm hoping for a helluva game, and (as a CCIW guy) a Wheaton win.  (Alas, I'll be driving back from Thanksgiving with my 98-year-old mom, and will have to catch up on the game later.  I'll also miss the OSU @ UM game - bummer!)

She's well worth it Ypsi. Well worth it. Enjoy every day with her you can. Haven't had mine since 1987. Still miss her!

   Hope you are all well.  We have just experienced the worst college football attendance record since before #33 went to UWW in 03. Several family health issues including a difficult loss and a new baby grandson, (weather,) has prevented us from going to all but the home opener for Carroll so far     Soooo, very excited for Saturday's game, being played at Wheaton, in the FIB's, "backyard."  Bet the Thunder has a kickass tailgate atmosphere!  Oh......wait.......   

Well, at least we have some playoff games at the Perk we can attend!
