If I was so inclined to drag the gf and myself to UWO to watch the game, where is parking? What's the situation?

Parking/tailgating is tricky there...It seems to be split up into 4-5 different sections as local businesses lease out their parking on Saturdays for football games. When I go I usually park in the bank parking lot across the street from the stadium.

So what's the cost to park then? When I go to UWW I just cheap out and park on the other side of campus and walk up to save that parking money lol

If you're not looking to tailgate, and just want to park, you can usually find free spaces along one of the side streets. The sooner you get there, the closer you'll park to the stadium.

Side note: When getting directions, make sure you get directions to Titan Stadium and not the UWO campus. Unless you want to swim across the river  ;D

I noticed some Oshkosh fans parking in the strip mall lot that is located one block southwest of the stadium.

According to the St. Paul @pioneerpress, former UWW Offensive Coordinator Jim Zebrowski, who was QB coach for the Gophers along with Offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover have been let go (fired?) after 5-7 season.

UW-Eau Claire!! Did you hear that?

If Lance Leipold wouldn't have been able to do anything with the UWEC football program, why would Jim Zebrowski? (He, Zebrowski, was also a finalist back, with Leipold, when Glaser was hired... )

Who's saying that?

Saying he wouldn't win 6 Stagg Bowls at UWEC isn't the same as saying "wouldn't have been able to do anything".

Some really great photos from the UWW/Wheaton clash Saturday. Really captures many closeups of both teams and fans on both sides as well as key moments of the game. High quality pics

Great pics.  Pics 65-74 show the incredibly athletic play Wheaton's Dansdill made on the 1st quarter fumble, though according to the rulebook, illegal play (illegal batting of football).

You lose the perspective of full speed, but the pics make me wonder if Dansdill could have possessed the ball outright with one foot in bounds instead of throwing it back in bounds.  Pic 69 looks like he almost did.

Imagine that, a poster coming on this board and arguing something you never said.
Next thing you know he'll tell you how mean you are to new posters.
It's pretty silly to suggest that many coaches would, or have, won 6 D3 football titles, too.

But it's pretty clear what 02 was implying; emma. Look that word up in the dictionary.
Also, I inferred - look that one up, too - that 02 was suggesting, based on his silly analysis of UWEC's football program on its record in 2006, that he didn't think there was anything to work with there, and that not even LL could have won there... Thus, as a UWEC poster, since I don't bow to the almighty everything is purple, I inferred 02 was taking a shot at the Blugolds, not at LL.

And hey, emma... It's also good to see you're finally catching on to the attitudes that are driving posters, old and new, away from this board...

You do a lot of inferring. You do very little giving the benefit of the doubt.

You gotta be kidding me. I said no such thing. My obvious point was that he would have stayed at Eau Claire for only one year. Saying I said that LL "wouldn't have been able to do anything" at Eau Claire is a 100% lie. Knock it off Bulk. Just stop. No smiley face intended.

We can only imagine what would have happened had Todd Glaser turned down, or had not gotten, the UWEC job in 2006, and one of the other Blugold coaching finalists had been offered the job instead.
That being? Lance Leipold...

Very interesting, I don't recall hearing that story.
So where would UWEC have been seeded in the brackets today if LL got the job?   :D

Probably right where they are. Even LL probably couldn't have a decade-long effect after working at a place for just a year!  ;)

Sorry bleedpurple... I incorrectly inferred from your post that Leipold would have stayed at UWEC the last 10 years, not what you didn't write or say, that being that he would have only been at UWEC one year because he then would have moved on to take the UWW job... For one who infers a lot, I guess I should have just assumed and inferred what you didn't say or write.

Bye, Felicia.....

In looking at some UWO stats and I didn't see Joe Sommers having a reception in a few games.  I hope Joe isn't hurt.

A working draft of priorities for UWW:
-UWW LB's must have a great game, controlling read option stuff and short passes.
-UWW passing game must stretch the field.
-UWW corners must prevent long ball, while making the receivers uncomfortable on underneath routes.

Rumor has it UWEC won't be the only WIAC team with a new coach heading into next season....
Like I was saying....  Just wasn't able to get confirmation and didn't want to start a "rumor."
