WIAC is also well represented on 2nd & 3rd teams
Interesting to see that the WIAC Offensive POY was unable to crack the list of any of the All West Region teams...

Lots of great quarterbacks in the West. Just simply not enough spots.

After watching Kasper over the weekend, I would agree with the QB's who made the All West Region teams over him.

Well ... you're judging him against the UWW defense. That's a tough standard.

Very true. It just seemed to me when he had time to throw he wasn't hitting his targets down field. Most of his yards came from screen plays that worked well against UWW.

Think the wind might have played a part on Saturday as well?

There's a reason only one TD was scored going towards the softball field in a game where 60 points were scored....

Anyway, I wasn't bringing it up to say he was "slighted" just an observation as to how many good QB's there are in the West Region this season that the WIAC Offensive POY didn't make any of the teams.

When is the last time that happened for either the defensive or offensive POY in the WIAC?

Yea, I'm sure the wind was part of it. It seemed to be a big factor for UWO's kicking game. Not sure if it was the wind that forced all those squib kicks in the 3rd quarter. UWW getting the ball at their 40 to start the 2nd half was kind of a gift. Not sure if they thought kicking it low would avoid the wind or what? It's not like UWW's kick returners were a huge threat.

They were unaware of UWW's secret weapon- The Hoppe

There is a Chipotle near Alliance that is pretty good if you are looking for a quick meal.  Good luck UWW !!

Both good news (that he has a job and is on a team's practice squad) and bad (that he has to be on the Bears  :'().

I know that everyone here has been following Matt Blanchard, but what about going a few years back - to Jeff Donovan. I see he's one of the major players in the new season of Fargo.

What's that? It's not that......... Oh, never mind.
