Came across this on the Iowa Board and I don't know anything about Hansen Ratings but they came out with a 2016 Preseason Football Ratings they predict:
1. Mount Union
2. St. Thomas
3. WW
Oshkosh comes in at 5, P-ville is 9 and SP is at 16.  Here is a link:

Mount loses too much to be pre-season #1.  2015 was a very experienced group.

I don't doubt that they'll drop a bit, but honestly, the gap between Mount Union & St. Thomas (who is also losing a lot of starters) vs. everyone else last year was large enough that I doubt they'll drop out of the top two, but the gap between them and UWW should definitely get a bit smaller.

Typically my ratings (I have done them retroactively for every season from 1999-2015: https://loghan.shinyapps.io/Ratings_History/) project Adjusted Offensive/Defensive PPG numbers within 5-6 points for about 2/3 of teams, so the margin of error between the top few teams is large enough that I wouldn't be surprised by their rankings being completely different after even a week or two of games, but it's hard to bet against a team who's been to the last 11 Stagg Bowls.

You're just trying to get lots of karma points aren't you?
If I could give you 100 I would. Great effort and detail. Thanks for sharing.
That 2013 UWW D was awesome.

Former WW assistant coach Steve Dinkel was named principle at Jefferson  (WI) High School.

UWO Titan 78

Does anybody know if the Titans are looking to add a 10th game to the 2016 schedule? It appears they are the only WIAC team yet to secure a third non-conference game. Maybe NAIA schedules get finalized later and they'll find an opponent. Any information is appreciated.

QuoteThanks for the reply.  There are a million preseason publications for D1 its nice to see another resource for D3.

We don't know what to make of this.
Nice to see Mr. Hansen on the boards.

I know this is non football but last weekend at the mens  D3 Track and Field  Championships La X won 1st, EC was 2nd,  P-ville was 4th and WW was 5th. The WIAC  owns D3 track ;D

MEN'S T&F.  My IWU Titans won the women's title (and not for the first time). ;D

Uh oh, here comes the publics advantage over privates debate...again  ;D

Not from me; and maybe not at all.

In women's T&F, the top three were all privates:  IWU, Baldwin Wallace, and Wash U.

In LIST price, the advantage for publics can seem huge (and may sway 'first-time' students), but in 'actual' price, the gap is generally much more modest.

Interesting.
Carnegie Melon showing strong on the national scene.
UWW O lineman picks not a surprise and neither is Tamsett given the number of years these guys have been starters on strong teams.

Congrats to all that made the list- nice to be recognized.
