I'm heading up to Oshkosh for the John Carroll game Saturday! Does any UW-O person (or someone who has been to a game there) know anything about tailgating policies? Where is the best place to park usually?
Thanks in advance!  ;D ;D

We usually park across the street from the stadium in the bank parking lot. They charge about $5 a car. Plenty of people will be tailgating prior to the game, up and down the block in various parking lots. Drinking and grilling is allowed. Get there kind of early if you can.

This is Wisconsin alcohol is allowed.   You won't have any problem finding parking very close to the stadium and tailgating.

I never got the reason for all the seating on one side. Stout does this as well. How much trouble could it be to put up some stands, even if they are temporary that can be removed after the season. It seems like it would be better for both teams not to have the sides intermingled. Plus the homers may lose their regular spots when a fan axe like UWW travels to the game

New Hawk and desert cat check the picem board. You have not picked the Coe / River Falls game.
Thought I fixed it yesterday. I will go back and check.

I don't think the football field is centered inside the track . So they built the stands on the side that's closest. If stands were built on the other side you would be about a 3 iron away from the field.

UW-Whitewater will square off against The College Of New Jersey on Saturday at noon at Perkins Stadium in Whitewater. Warhawks head football coach Kevin Bullis talked about the match-up.

So the game notes are out for Whitewater vs TCNJ over on uwwsports.com.  Includes a roster and a two-deep.

But the two-deep doesn't include Nelson or Hudson or Shier on offense.  I see a few mistakes on the game notes (i.e., Jarrod Ware is a freshman again on the roster) - Hmmmmmm .......
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

D O.C.

As your season begin the cry for NO INJURIES rings from here.

badgerwarhawk

If I've counted correctly the WARHAWKS roster includes 105 players which is the same as last year's roster.

The breakdown by state:
Wisconsin: 65
Illinois: 37
Iowa: 2
California: 1

By class:
Senior: 19
Junior: 17
Sophomore: 29
Freshman:40

By Position:
Offense:
QB: 4
RB: 8
OL: 20
TE: 7
WR: 15
Defense:
DL: 16
LB: 15
DB:17

P/K: 3

Note: I didn't try to correct the class standing of players.  KS pointed out an error.  I noticed Drew Patterson is listed as a sophomore and I think he's a freshman.
