Tight End.  If God wanted Gumina to be a third tackle, he wouldn't have given him legs that run fast and hands that catch.

What I would like to see done with him then, is if he really has legs that run fast and hands that catch, put him out wide. God knows we don't have any size at WR. Campbell is more of that third tackle anyway. Plus, the blind squirrel sometimes finds the nut, right? He'll occasionally catch a pass or two ... by accident.

BTW, where's all the indepth discussion about Oshkosh vs Morthland? I'm curious what they run for an offense? And how the Titan defense will fare? Will Oshkosh only take their JV team or will the entire squad be bussed to Illinois for the day?

My apologies to Bleed, I was late in reading his Warhawkfootball.com site.  He's doing a great position by position review on his site, which includes tight ends.  I like his style:
"In most offenses, having a tight end who can both block and still pose a receiving threat is a bonus.  When that same tight end can pose a downfield threat in the passing game, the word luxury comes to mind. How do you even describe an offense with not one but two tight ends who can block, catch, and beat a defense deep"?

Thanks, Emma. I appreciate it.  OL, TE, QB, and RB done so far. Wide Receivers coming up next. Wow, UW-W has a lot of receivers! Unfortunately,  I will probably have to revert to how I did the OL (there's a ton of them, too) and not mention everyone, unfortunately.

Gumina had a good year last year but Campbell has managed to get open and make the catches this year. He has the size to block obviously but he is hard to bring down when he gets some forward momentum. I like them using the tight ends. If nothing else it keeps the secondary guessing. My two cents on the QB, put Wilbur in, Nelson just seems shaky and is making poor decisions. I just don't think faster opponents are going to help with that decision process. Holding the ball for as long as he does is something you can get away with against Belhaven, but not against the WIAC. He still doesn't seem to be going through his progressions and finding the open receiver.

You've got good cents.

It's true.  It feels like we snuck into the stadium after the lights went out.  Is there any beer left?

Yeah, sorry -- Do definitely go win one for D-III. I'll be in town for a game that counts for more than this one in a couple weeks, sound good? :)
