There's plenty of parking across the street from the stadium.  Some business parking lots and large grass areas are used.  You can tailgate in any of them.  You shouldn't have any problem finding a suitable spot.

Congratulations and good luck.

Thanks!

Whitewater fans, I just want to say you guys are an AWESOME fan base. I know that with the weather, and the Badgers playing later in the day, the attendance wasn't the best, but you guys showed great support. I met many fans who were nothing but some of the nicest people I've ever met, even after the game was over. I had a former professor walk up to our tailgate and talk with us for 10 minutes about how great of a season we were having. I have to say, before this weekend I was one of those "I'm sick and tired of Whitewater" people (in fairness, I'm like that with Mount too) but you have A LOT of class, and my perception of the school and fan base changed on Saturday afternoon. Perkins is a beautiful stadium, and I wish you nothing but the best of luck this off season!

Now, I'm driving up to Oshkosh on Saturday (benefit of being a Chicago JCU Alum) and I was wondering, where is a good place that we can park somewhat near the stadium and tailgate??

Thanks J Streaks. I know this is a biased viewpoint, but I agree entirely w your positive comments about UWW fans. With all the success it's easy to assume a program will have arrogant fans. I'm proud of the way UWW supporters engage w the visiting team and their fans.

You have a lot to be proud of w that JCU team, I really respect their style of play. I hope your team got through the game without serious injury and best of luck this weekend.

So if the Whitewater backers have a rooting interest on Saturday, who will they be pulling for, their WIAC counterpart, or the team that eliminated them from the postseason?

With that said, having seen their team play against both teams, who do Whitewater fans see winning, regardless of who they might be hoping wins?

I don't think you can really put much weight in the first John Carroll/UWO meeting.....  With it being the first game of the season, both teams have likely gone through significant changes.

As much as I really like JCU's players and their style of play, and as much as I root against UWO in the WIAC season, I am a WIAC supporter and hope UWO prevails.  I'd like to think their success will help UWW (although I've had reason to doubt that of late).
Having seen so much of UWO in the last 3-4 years and their continued improvement on the lines and movement away from the fluffy stuff, I think they have enough to get passed JCU.  JCU d backs did a great job in covering UWW receivers, however, I have a feeling UWO is a stronger running team and a more effective passing team.  I have to believe UWO offensive coaches can scheme against the man coverage and, I assume, the UWO receivers are more adept at getting open against man coverage, and will run routes designed to help them.
If UWO can be more of a threat to JCU with the pass, their already powerful run game will be more than what UWW could do.  I did see Hecker limping at the end of the game though.
Can UWO D stop that inside run that hurt UWW?  Can they stop the dump off passes that Moeglin completed, especially while under pressure?  UWO gets to see those plays on tape now.

All that said, JCU seems to have that IT factor going.  I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull it off.

I forgot that I wanted to pop over here and say what a nice job the UWW announcers did.  I watched the stream and was very impressed by the whole production, but especially the broadcasters.  Nice work!

I have heard Emma talking about the IT factor for several years and initially did not give it much thought, but I have to agree.  JCU has swagger, albeit in a humble, positive way.   They have confidence and they should, beating both Mount and UWW on the road.    As a true WIAC fan I will be cheering for UWO (ouch that hurts  8-) ) but it would not surprise me if JCU pulls out a victory.

"Pound The Rock!!!"

UWO Titan 78

So excited to see the Titans in the semi-finals. I was confident going into the game against UST. I thought the Titans ability to run the ball would be enough to win the game. I couldn't imagine getting 4 turnovers, let alone 8. Hats off to UST for continuing to battle through that adversity. I'm hopeful that the Titans can continue to be balanced against JCU. The passing game was able to take advantage of the Tommies trying to take away the run and hit on some big plays. That second offensive dimension is something we've been lacking a bit. Hopefully that is a trend that can continue. I don't like having to play a team twice in a season, but with a trip to the Stagg on the line and the fact that the first game was a long time ago, this shouldn't have much impact on the outcome. Both teams will be familiar with concepts, but a lot has changed with both teams I'm sure throughout the season. Both teams have to come into this game sky high. JCU beat Mount on the road to get in the palyoffs and then they beat UWW on the road in the playoffs. Doesn't get much bigger than that. UWO went on the road to beat the defending Stagg runner-up and end a long home win streak. Both teams are deserving of being here and in the Stagg. I hope the Titan faithful show up for this one. This game deserves a good crowd. Good luck to both squads. Hail Titans!

I agree! This game is going to be great! I am really looking forward to making the trek up from Chicago for the game! I couldn't go over Labor Day (I got 19 staples in my leg the day before, and that killed that trip) but now I get my opportunity!

Oshkosh is one heck of a team, and regardless of the outcome, the winner is going to be very prepared for the Championship.

Good luck to both teams!

I love the Warhawk fans. Really. Talked to several over the years at Mount/UWW games. Great fan base, great people. Not familiar with the UWO base but I will assume they are similar (after all if ya like cheese kurds - your'e A-Okay in my book!). However, I am hoping for an all-OAC Stagg (shocking, I know) - I want to see Mount win it all by sending jcu home. However, UWO is an outstanding team and back-to-back trips to Wisconsin will be tough for jcu. Not too mention, Mount is going to have their hands full in Belton. Either way this weekends games should be great. Good luck and safe travels to all.

Will be interesting to see if the field at Whitewater will need to be replaced (or has it been already?)  Obviously something to keep an eye on moving forward.

UWO and JCU appear to be similar to each other as Mt and MHB appear similar to each other.
The Stagg should feature two teams with different approaches.
Grinding vs Big Play?

The UMHB defensive front and linebackers are very impressive. If you're offense is a zone base concept and looking to get to the outsize edge then your run game will be rendered useless, you have to get North/South on them but that is even a tough road to hoe.   The short underneath pass game is also not very effective against UMHB due to their speed at Linebacker. Best best way to attack them, IMO, is with longer developing passing plays that strike for big chunks but your pass pro has to stand up to make that happen.

I know everyone loves to talk about UMHB's big play offense but their defense and special teams will be the reason they win the Bronze and Gold.
