I'm looking forward to the game against Wash U. Despite the last two weeks, I'm strangely confident we will see a much improved Warhawk team.

The Wash U QB situation is interesting. In their first game, Arthur and Stephens shared snaps and each were just under 50% completions.
Expecting to see something similar in game two, I was surprised to see Johnny Davidson as the leading passer, going 18-24, while Arthur hovered around 50%.
Who is this Johnny Davidson? I referred to the ol' Kickoff 17 to find out:
QuotePosition battle to watch: Quarterback. This was not a question for Wash U in recent years but it becomes one again now. Ryan Arthur was the backup last year, while Jack Stephens is the most improved over the offseason. Johnny Davidson, who punted last year, is a candidate, a resourceful playmaker,

It seems Mr. Davidson is quite the athlete as he also rushed 11 times for 90 yards and averaged 38 yards per punt (and 41.5 on 11 punts in the first game). I was really hoping to see his name in the defensive stats, but no such luck.

It was inevitable that he was going to take over as the signal-caller at some point. After all, how many other Wash U quarterbacks have made the cover of People magazine?

That is such a musty reference, it arrived on my desk by telegraph.
LOL

As the saying goes, "Time may be a great healer, but it is a lousy beautician!" :P

In the 70s, I had hair that made my girlfriends (and Sam Malone) jealous.  Now I wear it super short, because once it turned grey it became absolutely unmanageable.  Besides which, there is now much less of it. :(

Earl (UWP) and Yaeggi (UWL) are nearly dead even. How does UWP keep reloading at QB?

Good to see UWW back in the win column. Offense looked good once they got rolling late 3rd into the 4th. I think the center should only practice shotgun snaps the next two weeks. Lots of low snaps.

Hope this is helps launch them into the bye week and momentum into UW0.

Went to TBC site and found no explanation. There's no game scheduled for next week. I did read that they only had 24 players for their first game.

7 more wins and they're in the Playoffs.

With the WIAC this year I wouldn't be surprised if 6 more wins isn't enough.

I attended the Platteville vs Hampden Sydney game.  Truly could have been a different outcome if HS hadn't have turned the ball over so many times in their own territory.  I hope the Platteville starting QB is okay.  Appeared to be a leg injury.  He was able to stand on crutches.  Here are some highlights from HS website.

Oh wow. I had no idea he got hurt. Hopefully he's ok.
